Has anyone else noticed? My level 27 driver, A.Adams, is awful, I'm an aggressive overtaker but this guy, he just waits until he's told to. Then he holds the same racing line, 10 seconds slower than myself. I'm not even a good driver, he always makes mistakes and my l12 driver isn't as fast bit makes less mistakes.

Want a tip? Don't choose drivers for there character. Go for the speed of them.
 
They do sometimes seem really stupid.
I love that one of my B-spec driver's name is: H. Keller.
Because then I know why the driver doesn't pass without me using the "pass" command.

I hate the fact that my B-spec drivers don't understand the term "late braking".

They are not much more than AI with a little outside influence from us.

Mine are dramatic prima-donnas.

I'm sitting there screaming at the tv telling him to pass, after which he doesn't, brakes because he thinks he will hit the car 30ft in front of him then ends up going in the grass...
 
I think my bob is a motor head. He just revs the engine, like he is getting his jollys from the sound, and then goes back to Hollywood blvd mode.
 
B-spec bobs in GT5 are always jerk even after they level up with progress coming to acquire some skills in certain fields like passing - especially they lack aggressiveness required to win a competition in their early stages. :scared:
B-spec drivers rather act in more decent way in GT4.
 
Yep...

Even though it doesn't do damage, it makes me cringe when I give one of my Bob's one of my personal cars, only to see him ram every other competitor up the ass with it at least 3 times.
 
They are unbelievably stupid when overtaking or breaking all the time for no reason and generally smashing into ither cars. Yet they can drive all night in the dark with no headlights and get the x2010 round the ring like an utter madman, flat out the whole lap! Go figure! :confused:

50 mph? Damn, you're lucky. Mine just stop the car for 5 seconds then crawl back to the road at like 4 kph then wait a little longer, and finally rejoin the race. This is all while the last AI car has flown by. Even my level 40s do this, I don't understand why PD made them so hopelessly stupid -_-
 
Kinda funny as your bobs are all better than mine. 4hour race and in the last 10minutes he crashes 1st to 10th. I swore at my tv and restarted it.

Ignoring the fact that they can clearly outbrake people, but decide to abort the move when they`re halfway past, then stay behind the same car for 2 laps before waking up again & actually getting the move done, THAT is the 1 most maddening thing about BSpec, that they`ll just stop & crawl back on track when they go wide when there`s NOTHING ANYWHERE NEAR THEM!!!!

I have destroyed at least 2 ds3s & 1 50" plasma because of Bobs total retardedness!
 
My B spec driver "Must" be on the racing line for most part of the course if he goes off he slams the brakes and turns sharply to get back on.

But the most annoying part is when he is on the main straight he goes off the racing line thus preventing any drafting.

He is also too passive and lets lower(he is 24 and he lets lv 6 beat him and in cars 2x more powerful) overtake reguardless of how hot or cold he is.

If he is coming up to someone to overtake he brakes at the last second nullifying the draft he got.
