Agreed. I saw it in the theater, hated it. I bought it on DVD, hated it and sold it. I feel like I wanna watch that DVD again..... Is there something wrong with me?code_kevThat film was crap. All it promoted was terrible acting.
ash6660It's funny how that since she died her music has become more famous though
(Asks question 'why?' Bangs head into wall very hard, wishing that one day Music of Black Origin will die)
Cluns1414Thats the dumbest statement ive seen on this board.
You can go ahead and say goodbye to Rock if thats your logic...... Seeing as that it was once viewed as "black music" at one point in time as well.
ash6660Hang on a second, but i'm right buddy, rap and hip-hop and all that stuff is (or as i believe) actually classed as 'Music Of Black Origin', hence the MOBO Awards, being the Music Of Black Origin Awards, a huge collection of R n' B and hip-hop etc.
So thereI wasn't being racist or anything, what i said is just true!
Music Of Black Origin is the general term for music that is/was originally black originated from other countries...
If i wanted to be dumb, I could have called it 'Black Music' as you so kindly put it, or i could have called it 'Jungle Music' or summink like that if i was being racist, the fact is, i wasn't, infact, the term 'black music' actually seems much more offensive than Music Of Black Origin anyway...
Either way though, i do hope that one day this music will stop polluting the airwaves, but thats just my personal opinion, and if you don't like it, just ignore the fact that i said anything...since when has my opinion counted anyway?
Cluns1414Stop beating around the bush. Of course you didn't say "black music" because you knew you would have had some backlash. But you meant it. "Music of black origin".....lol They mean the same thing no matter how much YOU want to put a twist on it. We all know what you meant. Rock n' Roll still originated from rhythm & blues songs which is by your logic again "music of black origin"(im sorry thats too funny). But whatever. Oh and im AM black. So is "wishing that one day Music of Black Origin will die" supposed to offend me to a "lesser" extent....please..... This thread needs to be locked. It's turned into a useless spam-fest.
ash6660Quite obviously, you're missing the point here...the intention behind it wasn't to be racist, i have nothing against the black population.
Secondly, yes, rock did originate from what is known as 'Music Of Black Origin', and what a good evolution of music it was...anyways, the "current" Music Of Black Origin is in my opinion rubbish, and i do hope that one day it fades away to a lesser intelligent audience, but even so, i'm not gonna be against black people just because the music that originates with them is bad...
Have you got a brain anyway?
MOBO - Music Of Black Origin, the one term in musical history that is completely anti-racist, but if you actually want to be a moron, and call Music Of Black Origin 'Black Music', then go ahead, you just keep making possibly the most racist comments on this forum...this thread has only turned into a spam fest because people with brains have to keep correcting people like yourself, who quite clearly don't have a clue, and are new members on here trying to be controversial and talk to us 'higher beings'...make my life better, fade away...

Cluns1414Is that how you settle your arguments, by start name calling like a little kid. Oh and please don't try to turn the table on me and call me racist. Like i said they both mean the same thing. "music of black origin", "black music" same thing. Period.
Im still not the one "wishing that one day Music of Black Origin will die". You could have easily said, i hate R n B, or i Hate Hip hop or hell....both to keep it civil. But you go out your way to say any music of black origin should die out. Thats just immature. Besides, their is more to these genres than the garbage that MTV or the radio force feeds us these days. It's no different than some of the awful fake punk emo garbage thats is flooding the air waves( with help from MTV) as well.
Wow, your just looking into this too much. Besides if you wanted avoid a conflict, use more tact when you make an argument.

PSDude, stfu and learn some music history. Start with motown or Ray Charles.
Ummm, PS, Cluns is the one who said that nearly all rock and roll derives from black-originated rhythm and blues (not to be confused with R&B or r'n'b). So he knows the music history, obviously.PSDude, stfu and learn some music history. Start with motown or Ray Charles.
Uh, sorry, but you're both being stupid on this issue, and you're definitely wrong on the racist issue. All you had to say was that you hate rap and modern r'n'b. Point made; issue avoided.ash6660Thankyou, someone else on here who has a brain...cheers PS
