Are non-host now allow to start the race??

Not sure if this has been covered, if so i apologize but ever since the update there's been something that's been bugging me. I notice now that when my friends hop in my lounge for online races, despite the face that they are not the host, they have the ability to start the race. Not the end of the world i know but sometimes they'll accidentally start the race before everyone gets in the room. Just curious if there's any way i can restrict it to where only the host starts it. Thanks in advance.
 
Non-hosts can only start races in private lobbies. Public lobbies the owner has full control on as in private lobbies one can also change the settings if they aren't the host.
 
Haha I remember in version 1.0 when anyone could start the race, and also when everyone didn't have x1s.
 
I'd rather only the host had control in every lobby, so when that friend comes that nobody likes, he can't start the race..
 
This happened last night when I was racing one of my friends from school in a private lobby and he had got on track first then I followed and I was going to do a warm up lap first, but it told me that my friend had started the race.
