Are PD listening?

So, we all get the impression that PD is listening to it's fanbase, simply because they have introduced the Aventador and a Drag-Strip.

Do you lot think that this is just coincidence, or do you think PD really are listening to our complaints?

If they are, then why is the Veyron still standard, along with 90% of the cars in-game.?

If they're not, then why do we finally have a coveted drag-strip, as well as a car that was 'hoped for' in all of the DLC Threads?

Not everything fans wish for is realistic - or possible. You don't have to think very hard to come up with severe obstacles preventing PD from turning any given Standard car to Premium.
 
Well, we already know that PD is currently working on GT6, so in order to keep there loyal fans onboard with the company until it releases they just keep pumping out 4 new cars,1 pack at a time. It seems Every DLC contains at least 1 car that was already in the game as standard. Just think by the time GT6 arrives we will see most of the standard cars upgraded to premium. There method seems to be more cost effective as far as being able to spread out there DLC release dates in order to line them up with there expected GT6 release date.

There are always listening. They have teams of interns reading blogs and forums. Most game developers would not be successful without doing some what I call "streetsearch"
 
Well now let's see.

Asked for Spa, we got Spa. Asked for more race cars, you got more.
Asked for more premium cars, you got more premiums. Asked for a test track and quess what you got one.
So yes they are listening. They only have limited resources so cannot do everything they would like to.
 
No worries, its still nearly as good as anyway, a tree would be nice though.

I think if they were more considerate of fans' complaints and wishes we should be getting the top-rated cars and tracks on this site's feedback sections as DLC

It doesn't matter how much people want things like Silverstone or the BMW E30 if it's not realistic or possible to get them in the game.

People ignore or disregard what PD has done and focus on complaining about what they haven't.

I dont mind it. It's one of the most iconic cars out there. 61 million sold worldwide. Must be something good about it.

It was just an economical car to putter around with and most people like to save some money. Supposedly, they were considered cute but that decidely turned me off on them. I was driving an MGA 1600 at the time.

I don't mind PD adding the VW Beetle although I didn't ask for it. I'm not the only one using GT5 and I figure it might please others to have it. I'll bet if they have some online B-spec races that require a VW Beetle-class car, I'll certainly be happy to use it. You know, there might be plenty of people around the world that actually owned one and so PD put it there for sentimental reasons. I haven't set mine up yet, but with some mag rims, new paint and some mods, it might be a rather rad-looking ride. I hope it will take a rear wing.
 
No. They dont listen. PD is going to fall...
They are stuck like a Rusted bolt. (In the way they work)
Innovation is never heard off :) Their biggest innovation of alltimes is to make GT series online playable...
Maybe the word FEEDBACK is not in the japanese dictionary so it cant be translated.

Still GT Games are the most addictive out there...
Good work on the game.
Not so good on the Finishing touches (half finished game).
Not good work listening to the communety.

Edit: Forgot to mention that they do follow another trend among game developers and are not completely rusted like a nail :p , DLC Money gatherings :)

When the game was released, PD went about gathering opinions from players they selected, and I'm sure have been using that feedback to improve the game. They also know about this site, which is why we have a Feedback section, so they have somewhere to look and see what we're asking for. Finally, PD have been known to check the Message Board comments on profiles, but secretively. Don't, however, expect to hear from PD directly.
 
Nice McClarenDesign. :) + Mr. Kazunori also holds the GTPlanet shirt aswell. :D I hope the GT Classic Track Pack will be next for march DLC, or they're still working on it to have Pikes Peak come in safely. It'll blow the other games to the side in the speed of sound. lol

I sincerely hope we get the classic tracks back. Not having Seattle was the biggest disappointment for me.

Count up all the posts complaining about the goofy number of skylines and GTR's in the game, and then take a good look at the cars being released in the DLC. Does that math add up for you? :)

When they release the 1G AWD Eagle Talon TSI or Eclipse GSX that I've been asking for since GT3 (Car and Driver top 10 for five years in a row BTW), I'll start believing that they listen to us. :D

If PD weren't listening, Round 2 of GT Academy would've continued with cheaters.

It does start to add up. By the time all the DLC's are released, every manufacturer will have an equal amount of car models. Nissan has one of the biggest racing heritages and the skyline took racing to another level. It is Godzilla for a reason and it scares people. Kaz drives a Nissan. Nissan was first priority so they had to make sure they paid dues to one of the most innovative car manufacturers ever. JDM gets excessive love no matter what. Why? Look at the game developers and designers ethnicity.

May i ask why it is not realistic to ask for Silverstone when we have seen pictures of the file along with Spa. and the gt academy finals are held there ?
