Are the off-road physics any good?

Why not trying the game and see it for yourself? I know you can try Gamepass for a Dollar.
I don't think the physics are on pair with Rally games in general. Maybe they could be comparable to Dirt games. Certainly not Dirt Rally. But I still think they are good enough when using a proper car and tune. Specially the sand feels good. Not sure about popularity but personally I like dirt racing a lot. Even cross country in lower classes. Off-roading in S1 or higher is not that fun for me.

Definitely not on par with Rally Sim games like WRC. But the off-road physics in FH5 are as good as they have ever been in Forza.
I do like the rally races int he game, But not a fan of the track designs for Cross Country races, Though there are some good community made Cross country tracks in the Creative Hub.
