Are there extra site rules from AUP?

What we all need to grasp, is that if the AUP tried to include every single little fault and rule out there, it'd be huge. Original Xbox hueg [sic].

As Jordan states, it is up to him to deem a content unacceptable or not. Posters of course need, like I already said, some common sense.

In my humble opinion blaah, you're blowing this out of proportion. You got a warning and are nothing closer to getting banned than before you posted that. Well, maybe you're a little big closer now after this topic... I kid, I kid. :P

It's Jordan's site, he can do what he wants. If the AUP said "everyone's avatar must be a pic of themselves wearing a lime green monkey suit", then people have the choice to a) follow this rule or b) leave GTPlanet. Same goes for if you have a problem with the vague "offensive content" bit of the AUP.

Also, I DO have a problem with you deciding "what is suitable for others to see". I don't want to see a photo of someone shot in the face. And there are many (legal) things that I don't want appearing on my screen while I am at work. So if something is questionable, you should provide a warning and a link instead of ramming it down some unsuspecting reader's throat.

Well the fact you have a problem, is in fact just your problem as you can't dictate what others post, it's not your site. If you do not like this you have the option to leave GTP so there will never be the chance of an offensive image on your screen while at work. The same logic applies to you.

I know how things stand now, I have no further questions. I continue to obey the AUP

I doubt people would leave GTP because you wanted to post something graphic. We understand where you're coming from, but have some respect for the other people behind computers, and next time, ask a Mod.

My last 2 cents.

Of course I continue to use my best judgement. I wouldn't post something that I know definitely would be removed or complained about.

And now you know that this is one of those things.

Can we move on now?
