Going to try to get a launch system. Launch games are optional. My concernt is backwards compatiblilty and if it enhances the graphics for HDTV's.

20GB (Core) model: $499US.

60GB (Premium) model: $599US.

The 60GB version, in addition to the bigger hard drive, has built-in wi-fi and slots for various kinds of memory cards (i.e. SD, Memory Stick Duo, whatever the hell else they've got nowadays). Otherwise, they're the same. There's a thousand-page thread about it somewhere, has more information than any human could possibly want to know about a single game console.

I'll be getting one eventually, once there's a must-have game on it. Probably closer to when MGS4 and/or the real GT5 come along. I have little interest in GTHD.

I think I'll get a new 26" Sony HDready tv and PS3 next winter if I have enough money or maybe just get the tv and buy PS3 when GT5 comes out! anyway a HD tv is a must for PS3 if you ask me..

I have been leaning towards getting one on launch much more lately, depends on the titles available, no titles in the US/Japan launch is catching my fancy so far (maybe oblivion).

Whatever I have plenty of time to get the money together for the Euro/Aust/NZ launch. I'm pretty sure I will get one for sure by GTA 4 as I will use it mostly for GTA and GT series.
