Broccoli....for me

Cucumber is also, technically, a fruit.

I said "Courgette". I've seen this "Think of a vegetable" before.

I thought "Obviously they're trying to make you think of zucchini" and I couldn't think of anything else.

I actually spelt it correctly there before spell-checking. (I'm a bit of a bicycle nut so I deal with a bunch of Italian names like Botecchia and so I know you need an extra c before ch to make a hard C in Italian).

I certainly didn't go anywhere near carrots.

My wife has this Tim Curry album where he sings what is supposed to be "The Marrow Song", but for North American audiences he made it "The Zucchini Song".

I'm certainly glad I didn't appear to be normal...

Oh yes, tomato may be biologically a fruit, but cuisinarily(?) it is a vegetable. Being a fruit and being a vegetable are not mutually exclusive. Hmm. Not much support for "cuisinarily" being a word, but I'm sticking to it.

:dunce:

I said cucumber, I know a thing kind of like that. You write the numbers up to 4 on a peice of paper and put the pen down on top of the paper and ask someone to circle any number on it, for some reason most people will pick three.

i said carrot.....but i saw lettuce and celery flash by my mind first.

I could see why carrot if it just asked you immediately after the list of sums. But throwing in the "repeat 6 quickly" diffuses the wedge-shaped image created by those sums. So I don't really get it. Is there a PHD thesis about this somewhere?
