Arrrrgh serious GT5 Glitch

My GT5 copy is glitched

I can't finish a race anymore without having my car go into zombie mode :nervous:

I first had the problem trying to get the Dream Drifter trophy on Chamonix Main with a Daihatsu Move.

At the end of the race the car goes 49kph on its own and the race won't end.

I just did the Grand Valley Speedway 300km 60 lap race and the race is over, but my car keeps going around and around the track. I can't end it and get credit for the race :(

Pause doesn't work, i can't control anything. I'm so pissed off right now :(
 
He doesn't need to re-install the game.....it's only been happening since this update. FIX THE BLOODY GAME KAZUNORI!! I'M SICK AND TIRED OF HAVING TO RESET THE PS3 BECAUSE YOUR 🤬 STUPID 1.10 UPDATE MAKES THE GAME CRASH AT EVERY SECOND ATTEMPT OF ENTERING OR LEAVING A ROOM!! :mad::grumpy:

Hell, it's that bad it's even made the game freeze during a licence test!! :odd:
 
Do you have personal background music enabled? I've heard that causes the issues you're experiencing.

Just happened to me for the first time...does this start happening all the time once it does it once?
 
I'm hoping it doesn't affect B-spec, tonight is the first time I have tried remote racing.

I'm at work right now earning credits and keeping my electric bill high with low payouts!

Funny, it almost never happens to me.
 
Don't do A or B Spec while signed in on PSN--race offline. That helped me. Good luck.

PS: I had that happen to me at the end of a 24 hr B Spec race!

This happened today though, 2nd time the race was entered, it crashed and I had to quit the game and restart, I think everybody did.
 
Well I decided to race offline during the B-SPEC 9 Hour enduro while I slept...worked like a charm. ;) So, for the meantime this seems to be the solution as SoCal said.

Relax buddy. Many millions of people do not have this problem post patch.

It's probably something glitched on your end. That doesn't mean PD is perfect, but if your hdd is screwed up, perhaps reinstalling the game will help. That you've reinstalled many other times indicated you've had many other problems, so perhaps something is funky in your PS3.
 
Wow, you guys have strange problems with the game. :crazy:

Maybe you lost some bits of the update & the game got corrupted? Reinstall the game & load the updates via a Lan cable.
Or your HDD could be defective.

I never experienced something like that. The only problem i have sometimes is that the game hangs up during loading a race. That's it.
Ah yes, and don't leave your game during a storing process, else your PS3 starts to beeping & restarts completely. :sly:

Ya this happened to me twice. Pause made it pause but no menu came up to do anything so I was forces to exit game.

Sucks doesn't it!! I think there's an open loop with the coding somewhere because it happens quite regularly.
 
Just happened to me during the second consecutive 24h race at LeMans. :( Right at the end of the race, 25 minutes past actually. The pit lane screen is on screen but i can't press ok - it just does nothing! :mad:

Thinking of leaving the PS3 on for the third day in a row and trying again. On lvl 39 now and really want to get to 40. :(
 
Try disabling Personal BGM then pre-installing game data all over again. Pre-installing only takes 3-5 minutes.

After pre-installing I guess you can use personal BGM again, but after ticking the check for the 2nd time I'd pre-install game data again to ensure that stuff will be safe.
 
Had it enabled on the first 24h race it did, but just crashed on the second consecutive one. :( Have turned custom BGM off now and started the race again. Hopefully by 11:30pm tomorrow the race will be done and i'll be that much closer to lvl 40.
 
Alot of people are saying it crashes the game. However the patch doesnt seem to affect me in any way what so ever is it selected people or should it happen to everyone ?

Oh and make sure your console faces east too and only play when there's a full moon.
