Has anyone else noticed that there are paddle shifters behind the steering?

I thought Super GTs around that year can only use sequential shifters, like how drivers in the game use it?

I just assumed those were paddles you pull back to remove the steering wheel, I might be wrong though.

^Now that I think about it, you could be right.

The paddles behind the steering are a bit small compared to a normal paddle shifter.
