As we remember the hoffific day 9/11 was for us Americans. This was the Biggest Tragedy on American Soil for over a Century. After this day i felt violated that our country was invaded by Pigs(Terrorists). I felt very strongly how many people were killed while our President just read to some kids. He already knew what was going on. I saw a tribute video in my History Class. I was reminded on how these things were happening. I thought the video was very powerful, it showed flashbacks during the incident. On one of the Scenes a CNN cameraman catches the Second Airplane Crash into the World Trade Center. It was a Scary moment, it looked like it was in the movies with all the Effects. But this was for real. When i saw that i was thinking "Why did those people die,they didn't do anything".

The Pentagon was also Attacked. There were many people who were killed in this attack also. That was a very bad day.

But we had one victory in The War Against Terrorism. The Victory was in Hanksville. It was where the Samaritans(sp?) overpowered the Terrorists and stopped before they got to the White House. Sorry i got no picture for that one.

WELL GOD BLESS AMERICA!! I hope nothing Bad will happen tommorow.

i don't think it is to good to accuse the prez of knowing that the towers were going on. its not like he knew that terrorist would strike........
 
Well on the Tribute we Watched it said that Bush Already knew that the 1st plane crashed. Then while he was reading he was informed by his assistant that the 2nd plane hit.
 
Well I would like to say my condolences to all of those who lost their, friends, family, etc and to whoever else who's life has been changed because this horrific tragedy. Sad day in history, probably the worst things to happen this whole century. I too was also watching a movie in History class today and it was very moving. It was about this highschool just blocks away from the towers. I believe it was Stuyvesont highschool. The students were talking about what they were feeling what they were doing when this all happened. :nervous:

yeah, it is the one day I remember that was horrible. I remember when it happened i was in math class in the 7th grade and we were talked to on how bad the attacks were. it had the whole country shooken up bad.
 
It was a very tough day for me. I had been up all night finishing the construction documents for the North Brookfield High School. I'd been turning 60-70 hour weeks in the previous month leading up to it. The "available for Bid" date was the 12th. The old office is located right next to Burlington International airport (home base of an air national guard tactical fighter wing). The house I lived in was right on the landing path for the airport.

My wife called after the first plane hit. They brought a TV into the main conference room and we watched. We all saw the second plane hit.

My nerves were already shot and I was running low on reserve strength. My wife was calling me in tears and an emotional mess.

About 10 pm that night, the few of us working in the office were emotionally devasted. You never really notice it until it's not there. We were quite used to the heavy planes taking off and had grown accustomed to the noise overhead. Spooky and unsettling was how our night was. Very few cars on the road, no planes in the air, and nothing on the radio except for the horrible news.

It's a day I'll not forget.

I remeber exactly where I was when it happened. I was in science class when the teacher tols us the news. I don't think any of us understood what really happened until we got home and turned on the TV. Just a sickening mess.
 
The 9/11 event was just crazy. The day that it happened I was in school, 8th grade I believe. Many of us stood in shock as the first helicopter is shown crashing into the building. With that, I just couldn't believe it. I knew that many people had been killed by just looking at the crash. My teacher was crying because this is infact a horrible act. I am a sensitive guy in person. I will admit it clean and clear.

I just stood there watching the TV and out of no where a second plane ran into the second tower. Right then and there I swore I felt a tear coming down my cheeks. Being with my friend I wipe it off in a flash.

We will never forget. I know I won't.
 
I woke up from bed and came down stairs after getting dressed. While I was eating breakfest we get a phone call and my mom picks it up. She frantically fumbles for the remote and finally finds it and turns on the news. I was in awe and shock when I saw the 1st tower and the headlines reading "World Trade Center attacked!" or something along those lines. While I was tieing my shoes ready to leave for school I watched in horror as the second plane was spotted and collided with the World Trade Center. We stayed there just watching the TV set in total shock, and then the worse happened. The World Trade Center had collapsed and I was almost sick thinking of all the people still in the building as the tons of metal and steel come crashing down upon them.

After school I come back and turn on the TV as I watched a video of a News team was shooting the WTC collapsing and all the people on the streets running their way. A menacing wall of grey dust came straight for them. They headed for the shop next to them and locked the door. Hid behind the counter still shoooting, focusing on the window door of the shop. A grey fog of dust blew at a high rate of speed right by them. I knew for sure if they stayed there they would get injured by the particle hitting them of stone and would suffocate in the thick dust. It was a horrible day for america.
 
I remeber where I was. I was in math class. Front row, all the way to the right. it was a tuesday. We were about to review the homework. The principle came over the speakers. He was nearly in tears. he told us that 2 planes hit the world trade centers. He then said the pentagon got hit and is now on fire. I then got all choked up, too.
 
Well mine happan like this,

I woke up... took a shower... got out turned on the telly... and there it was Smoke coming out of the First Tower that was hit... I continued to watch in Horor... :scared: Reading "Plane Crashed In To World Trade Center Tower" I continued to watch as the time went by.... then it was 7:45 and I had to leave for school... I got to class and everyon was talking about it... Then In my second period class we got to watch the news... and then the second plane hit.. Every one gasp.. and some started to get really worried... Then The bell rang and we had to go to the next period.. and we did the same thing.. watch the news.... almost Every Period was the same.... and... that was it.... the day none of us should forget was over...
 
I was in English class when I first heard the news. About 10 minues later everyone was in the computer room watching Fox News. I could see the female teacher start to cry when the second plane hit.
