I've played the Ascari 15 Minutes Race in the International A class races with the Honda HSV-010, Mercedes SLS AMG GT3, and Pagani Huayra 15 Anniversary cars, but I still am unable to win it. I've had several 3rd place and 2nd place finishes only to get beat on the final straightaway coming out of the last turn. These cars I've tried have not been tuned or parts added to them.

What car are you using to place gold in this race? I've searched the threads of this forum, but have found no help.

Try a 4WD/AWD car......GTR R35 Touring Car or Audi Rally Car did the trick for me.....they have good handling and can be tuned for the race...

Not tire friendly though :P. Stock SLS AMG did the trick for me :D.

If i recall wasn't the tires restricted to Sport Soft? because i used Sport Hards. It was a challenge against the MP4-12C. The AI was actually quick :p.
It wan't Sport Hard. It was racing hard. The opponents were race cars. You must be thinking about something else.

Or maybe I am...... :odd:

The 15 Minute Race in International A is for 650PP Racecars. Basically GT3 type cars. Racing Hard Tires. There is no tire or fuel consumption.
If the BMW McLaren F1 is in the field, it will be a battle.

In Super Class, there's the 10 Lap Race at Ascari for Supercars. Totally different thing.

OOOOOOOOO :banghead: Was thinking about the 20-Min one.

"How do i win?"

You have to cross the finish line ahead of the other cars!

Sorry, couldn't resist :D

I used the Merc SLS GT3, it was difficult only because i didn't know the track but keep at it, you will do it:tup:

The rubber band effect seems to be in effect, I tried a Viper and the BMW McLaren won easily in 15 mins 40. The GTR 35 TC was able to win in 15:03, just finishing 7 laps. The rabbit seemed to slow down, let me pass on lap 6, then spent lap 7 bumping me from behind. 2:09 laps are needed but if you go faster the rabbit may just go faster also. If you finish 7 laps in less than 15:00 mins then you need to do an 8th.

I ended up winning the race using an Audi R18 TDI 15th Anniversary that had a tune adjustment that was made by TheCardboardBox GT6 Tuning under the LeMans tuning directory. If you use this tune when you race the R18, you will want to use the brakes as little as possible using the accelerator as your braking action to slow the car. You can use the brakes, but don't turn or accelerate when doing so.

My next test will be to find a good car to use to win the Nurburgring 15 minute race. I know that it will be quite the challenge.

Something like a Peugeot 905B Evo 1 Bis LM '92 will destroy the competition. I just took the lead in 5 1/2 minutes in that lol. A McLaren F1 GTR Race Car Base Model '95 is another easy win.

For a challenge I like to use the Lotus Elise 111R Race Car '04. It's About 140 PP below the max allowed, but it corners like an X2014 Junior and it's just a blast to drive around that track.

Thanks for the info JackC8. Are these cars suggestions for winning the Nurburgring 15 minute race?

The GT R35 TC will also take Nurburgring, you need that car anyways for the N'ring one make race, did both back to back. N'ring ended up a 21 mins plus three lap race in doing 7 :02 laps.

Did you do any adjusting to the settings of the GT R35 TC to win the N'ring race? I've raced it 3 times only to end up in 3rd place twice and 4th. I was only able to go 2 laps before it finished the 15 minute race. Any tips?

It should be easy enough to win with it stock, just set the front downforce to max and the rear to 50 higher than that. Use the traction to your advantage, so maximise corner exit speeds.

I think you've got a little room to add some power to the Nissan GTR R35 TC too. If I remember right, it starts at around 615pp. IF you gear it to around 205mph top end that should give you enough speed and power.

My wife won the 15 minute at the Nurburgring by down tuning a Toyota 7 to 650pp. I think she was getting lap times of around 6:54. I like to build up street cars for races like this, but she prefers to down tune race cars for it. It's all a matter of preference.

I raced the GT R35 TC stock with stock settings. I'll have to adjust the downforce then and give it a try. Thanks for the advice.
