I'll post up some other stuff, but for now, here's the most recent shoot

Here are a few images from my first time shooting with the Alien Bees with a model. She's into comic books, video games, Japanese pop culture, hence the Batman knee-high socks and Superman tee

Canon 5D MKII with Canon 70-200 2.8L IS
Alien Bees B800 with 22" white beauty dish with a 30 degree reflector

Same strobe setup as above except with a B800 aimed at the background on these two images below

whoever is lookin' at the Batman socks is missing the point. She is way hot, got damn.

The pics... I really like the post pro. The desaturation adds up a lot, specially since there's so much white and so much light. I like the looks but I think I'd like a bit more detail in the more light-filled areas in the first two shots. Less clothes also, but yeah, I know.

As far as the PP, those aren't desaturated. That's the color of the cabinets and her skin tone.

I didn't have the space for a rim light, so I had to adjust in PP by using more fill to bring out her dark hair. Normally I'd have a rim light camera right but due to the counters and center island in kitchen, there was only space for the main light.
