when drifting, what r the best settings or the asm and tcs level
in sum guides i found on the net it says level 0.-but i find this very difficult to control the drifts

at the mo i use 2 asm and 1 tcs

does ne one hav a better setting??

i allways set both to 0 and sim tyres

my drift cars range from 300 to 900HP and i have learnt to control all of them (it just takes practice)

i set to 0 and 1 it makes my car not spin out of control while drifting or speed drifting, but im using super soft tires, the faster the better, try super soft, havent you guys try it before, when you get use to it, then you be faster then before and you'll like it, im not forcing you but i just said try ok, check out my video on my forum says NEW DRIFTING VIDEO ok thanks people!!!!

Seriously..Putting sim tires on a 900 HP Car is just retarded...No DIRECT statement towards you guy..but seriously..WHY on earth would you put the WORSTE gripping tires in the game on a 900HP vehicle...

well have never used sim tires before in my life, well i did try it once and man i cant even handle the cars at 10 MPH i mean how can you turn that thing, i guess you have to have sim tire techniques, to whoever can control it, man your good then, but you should try Super Soft tire, its better!!!!!!!! on any HP car

depends on HP, TCS limits the amount of HP used and you don't want that with LOW HP cars because you won't have the necessary HP for a drift. but for HIGH HP cars, LOW TCS settings shouldn't hinder your drift. as for ASM, this will always get in the way of drifting .. it helps the car stay stable, or straight like BMW's. so always have ASM off. i maybe completly wrong so ask a professional.

oh yea it also depends on the tires you use. Sims will more likly peel out with higher HP giving you bad acceleration. Super soft, etc tires won't as much. So when you have TCS and sims on, you will see that your car will limit the amount of HP going to the wheels and you will see the RPM meter rise slowly and your acceleration is reduced. just learn to use the accelerator wisely :D ( in other words get a logitech driving wheel)

it's all aboot gas pressure ... super soft tires with low HP cars handle too well, it grips all turns or drifts for a little bit before traction is regained (by this i mean if you brake and turn sideways). if you're starting from 0 and gun the gas, the wheels will obviously peel out. but if you slowly accelerate and rev slowly, traction isn't lost. lets say i have a 300 HP car and it's redline is 8000 RPM. that car won't reach 300 HP until a certian RPM (dyno sheets etc). so at 2000 RPM i mite be using only 100 HP (all these numbers pullef out from my ass). so gunning it will give 300 HP from a still start causing wheel spin...

don't need all 900 HP ... its not all aboot HP in drifting ... look at the hachi roku ... its a piece of crap but can be drifted ... 500+ HP cars do indeed suck with sims but like my previous post, it's all aboot the gas pressure (at least in GT3)
