Astra GTE 16v now that brings back memories from when my uncle owned one back in the 90's.. Fast little car back thenI hope they add more hot 80s/90s hot hatches like the FIAT uno turbo, Nova, Astra, EXR2/3. Would be awesome.
I remember seeing this car for the first time and being puzzled. It looks like an Escort but it's different.
My brother's had the Astra GTE and Nova GTE when they came out, I was only a nipper but I loved those cars. The Astra was better. May aswell throw in the FIAT Strada and Talbot too, also the Nissan pulsar GTI-R (strangely absent from the GT games). Would amazing seeing a whole lobby filled with every not hatch.Astra GTE 16v now that brings back memories from when my uncle owned one back in the 90's.. Fast little car back then
My dad had a 1983 Ford Escort GT back in 1983, then changed it in 1985 for a Mercury Capri RSI remember seeing this car for the first time and being puzzled. It looks like an Escort but it's different.

I recall going in a highly modded Pulsar that was imported from Japan.. Thing was savage, think it made around 330bhp on the rolling road we were at - Anyone from the UK remember Well Lane Turbo Centre?I remember seeing this car for the first time and being puzzled. Yeah, this has improved quite a bit over the past year.I tried 0.4.1 after having not played EVO for months.
Performance seems to have improved, but for me the biggest improvement was Xbox controller support. It’s still a bit stiff, but a lot less so than ACC. Very playable.
Not a good question when it comes to AC Evo ahah? when ?
when it's done
Yeah it’s very enjoyable right now, been having some fantastic online races and the lobbies are packed every time I fire it up👌So I tried running Evo on my old laptop a few months back (which, granted, was running iRacing OK at the time) and had zero success. Sub-30fps on low settings.
Anyway, just fired it up for the first time on my new PC (running 7800X3D + 5070Ti) and what can I say. Wow...
The F40LM is absolutely savage!
I was a bit concerned following some of the early feedback, but this sim is in good shape. Can't wait for more content
They’re about the least greedy racing game dev in existence though, and that has to be praised in this day and age. I mean, you can tell these guys really care about the end product. Not something you could say about Polyphony, Turn 10 or Codemasters.Unfortunately that's how Kunos works; they release a game on EA that's pretty broken or unfinished, and in a few months it seems like something completely different and much better.
And that’s what led to the success of the first AC. Kunos does have some of the same attributes of an early 2000s FIAT group car manufacturer. Brilliant but the output can be temperamental and in need of some adjustments. They’re about the least greedy racing game dev in existence though, and that has to be praised in this day and age. I'm not sure I fully agree with this. Look at the console version of AC. 90 cars and 15 tracks. Not much to brag about. The only reason the game is popular is because of mod support on PC. And that's because no other game offered it in the same way. To this day I still don't know how they weren't sued over it. I'm glad they weren't, but I still scratch my head thinking about it.They’re about the least greedy racing game dev in existence though, and that has to be praised in this day and age. Lets release an early acces with least possible content ever, delay every single updates by months and months while stopped updating the game everyone was playing on pc(ACC) and get replaced by lmu, free Roam is coming this year or next btw lmaoThey’re about the least greedy racing game dev in existence though, and that has to be praised in this day and age. Yes, they released an early access for a fair price to let them know what the users really want and take it from there. Them delaying updates just confirms my point, they want them to be good, not rushed.Lets release an early acces with least possible content ever, delay every single updates by months and months while stopped updating the game everyone was playing on pc(ACC) and get replaced by lmu, free Roam is coming this year or next btw lmao
I know, that's precisely why I've been so involved in the AC1 EA journey, as well as the ACC one and now the EVO one. They’re about the least greedy racing game dev in existence though, and that has to be praised in this day and age. Yep, Pankykapus (one of the developers) confirmed in the forums that the main reason why the updates are taking so long or why AC Rally uses Unreal instead of Kunos Engine 2.0 is because they are developing the graphics engine at the same time as AC EVO so that it will be an important platform for the future of the company (for future projects beyond EVO) and they did not expect it to complicate all.Yes, they released an early access for a fair price to let them know what the users really want and take it from there. Kunos put out an update on their Discord today, and it's not good news if you wanted EVO to be more than a sandbox+online racing.

This saddens me, I can't lie. Why do sim racing game developers so consistently treat the "game" part of "sim racing game" as if it's anathema to them? Especially this one, EVO had all the ingredients to build a great career from, but nope, "competitive features" rule the day yet again...
Well, I'll always have Gran Turismo for the economy/career. But in my eyes that also means they don't focus on good AI competitors and that's always sad for me.Kunos put out an update on their Discord today, and it's not good news if you wanted EVO to be more than a sandbox+online racing.
