Note on the poll: In case there's any confusion, I meant about adding add-on content and mods to this list. I'd prefer we keep it to cars that we know are well modelled/accurately portray the car they're representing, but if you want every mod on the list then just post it here and (assuming the "Yes" vote wins) I'll put it on the list.

Given that these threads have proven quite useful for the other game sections, and considering I don't like to always have to log in to see what cars are available in AC, I'll be making a master Car and Track list and updating it as often as possible whenever new releases are announced. (Your help in updating the thread is appreciated!)

For the time being, this is going to be a simple car and track list, though I may continue to build on it and add information like what tires are available with the cars and other small details if I have the time. To make things extra difficult for myself, I'll be including the cars in chronological order (oldest to newest) and separating road cars from racing cars, with street legal track cars and dedicated track cars being counted as racing cars.

Key:

Standard: Car or Track is included in the game as of the most recent post update
Italics: Car, Track or Brand has been announced but is not yet included in the game. (Brand will only be listed in italics if no specific models were included in the announcement).

Don't forget the McLaren P1. I'll look for the official announcement. Was probably on Facebook. I'll edit this when I find it.

Edit: Here it is....you decide.

I found the announcement and have added the car.

Nice idea, well done and thanks Snaeper.

Edit - Trento Bondone is a real life hill climb:

You're welcome, and thank you for confirming Trento's existence.

I'd like to change my vote to option 3. IMO we need quality mod on the list where it's been community tested and on high quality build like the one from AC itself. Hope I won't offend any modders here, but I was bummed by Rfactor1 loads of crappy mod. The only ones I really like on that sim was the Supra, MR2, NSX, Corvette, and of course the F1 mods.

Hopefully version 1.0 includes Steamworks support for mods. Then you'd have a great ranking system and easy to download location.

I realize there's copyright issues with Steamworks, but I'm not sure there's anything they can do if you use generic names for the tracks. As for cars, honestly really don't care much on that. Maybe it can be bypassed, maybe not. But AC has a huge library of awesome cars. So I just want tracks mostly.

Voted 3. Although I assume there's not much out there at the moment.

Of course there isn't, which is precisely why I'm getting the question out of the way now, so we can keep track of modded content as it's released. If we decided to include it a year after the game was fully released, I'd imagine there'd be quite a bit to go through.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: Good one. :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Why thank you.

*Looks around*

Wait, are you laughing with me or at me?

Nevertheless, I think it does. The majority of PC sims have a bunch of cars that are meh to me. And the number I truly like can be counted on one hand with fingers to spare. I truly do think it has a bunch of awesome cars. Awesome = cars that are modeled with a great driving model and are models I want to actually drive.

Are there too many GT cars? Or Lotus production models? Or supercars that weight 5000 pounds and drive like a sled? Don't care. Because I can easily name 10 cars I absolutely love. So it's not about the quantity with me, it's about how many I love.

You take that back you heretic!

Honestly, I do like the GT cars. I'm still a little bitter that people were voting for even more of them in the DLC pack over some of the awesome vintage cars on the ballot, but they all drive superbly.

I think stock cars with high horse power are quite hard to drive thats why some people don't like it. It's a challenge driving them fast (Like the MP4 12c and the Huuuwawaayyuuurra ), but IMO that's where the fun is. Oversteer, under steer, or power slide on the corner. You know, like those on best motoring show. :D

Well to be fair, the title of the franchise is 'Assetto Corsa', ('Race Prepared') so it seems race/track cars are KS main stated focus. Frankly, having as many supercars thus far is wonderful, but probably not the primary focus of KS.

Not an official AC track, but it is available for download and works well, Joux Plane, you should only download it, to be fair for the original content creator, if you already purchased the original RBR SIM.

It's a suicide track.

I'll come out and admit it, I've never finished it. I've come so close a number of times, but I always choke it away. I get super cautious towards the end (so I can finally claim victory) and inevitably end up sliding down a hill at 1 mph. Agonizing defeat in slow motion.

Alright, it looks like there are several mods that might be worth checking out in the coming months upon their release

Among them GTPlanet's own PURE Spec Miata. In addition, we have the Lamborghini Gallardo Valentino Balboni, Mazda 787B, Chevrolet Corvette C6.R, Shelby Cobra and the already released Corvette DP.

I'd like to hear everyone's feedback on these mods upon their release to see whether they are worthy to put on the list.

This will hopefully help fluidity with any GTPlanet AC series in the event they want to know what quality mods exist and what members hopefully have them.

News on the licensing front for official AC cars includes a potential Toyota 86 (and more?) coming.

Alfa Romeo has been added to the list, including the three announced cars

I'm looking forward to hearing feedback from modded content worth putting on the list

This needed some love. The list is now updated as far as I am aware. If anyone see's anything amiss, let me know.

in the other thread I forgot the Audi R8 LMS Ultra, Alfa Romeo Daytona Type 33/2, BMW 1M Safey Car

plus Audi R18 E-Tron, and Scuderia Cameron-Glickenaus 003 (https://www.facebook.com/Assetto.Corsa/posts/1040959175930400)

and Alfa Romeo Giuletta Q.V. 2014 Launch Edition from 1.0 release, Lotus Evora GTE Carbon, Lotus Exige V6 CUP from Early Access update.

for some of these cars (like Classic Team Lotus cars) Kunos has the license, but it's not guaranteed that they will be released

Edit: Reference is to Snaeper's post.
Don't know what century you're living in ;)

Shelby Cobra, Mazda 787B, Gp5 Escort, Sierra RS500, and many others (some of which may be illegal, I don't know) and then there's the tracks...or did I miss the bit about no user added content? :embarrassed: (only teasing)
One point I would like to make though regarding cars is that I hope there is some thought put into it more than ooh that's a nice popular car. The value of a variety of cars is in the field of opposition we can construct for our races, the bigger the mix the better. I notice too many who post on this board have GT disease (as in the Gran Turismo variety) and want to turn AC into GT. :banghead:

If you can, please try to include the year of the cars. Thank you for additions, though. I don't know how I forgot the SCG-003.

I have the Cobra up there, but aren't the rest of those cars mods?
