So many variations of the DB4, infact I think I'm right in saying that what was going to be the DB4 MK5 became the DB5, I think this car looks so much better than a DB5, absolutely gorgeous however the best for me has to be the DB4GT Zagato

A fantastic car which would be great to have in the game - two examples were entered by David Brown in the 1963 Guards International Trophy GT Race at Brands Hatch. The team was managed by John Wyer and the cars were driven by works driver Bill Kimberly (USA) and the second car was entered for Bruce McLaren (NZ) and Innes Ireland (GB) - I don't know whether Bruce or Innes drove the car on the day. A very historic car and a worthy addition to the game!

Other drivers in that race included Graham Hill and Dick Protheroe in Lightweight E Types (come on PD the E Type needs to be premium and we need Coupe, Roadster and Lightweight race versions please)! Jack sears, Mike Salmon and David Piper were in Ferrari 250 GTO's, while P McNally drove a Corvette Stingray and P Jopp an AC Cobra 289.

By coincidence I am recreating this race field (sadly without the Aston Martin) and calling it "Cobra Ferrari Wars" - if anyone is interested in joining in just send me a message, we have a few spaces.

In 1963 there was only one Cobra and the field was dominated by Ferrari 250 GTO's and E Type's, but by 1965 (the Redex Trophy was the equivalent race for GT cars that year) the balance had shifted and there was only one Ferrari 250 GTO battling five Cobras, five E Types and a couple of TVR Griffith 200's (vote for that car also please).

A nice clip - not of the DB4 GT Lightweight as those are rarer than hens teeth, but the DB4 Lightweight (which would be very similar onboard) - superb driving by Charlie Kemp who set a new lap record during this sprint race. Lovely engine noise, but lots of transmission whine from the straight cut gears.
