It is a moster to drive with the Sports Tyres! :nervous:
I'm on 1:14.3 so far.............at least the evil tailslides makes for great replays :dopey:

midfield is a great map to test out cars with, or so i have learned. its practically a standard now for many tuners out there. post again with ur new times and specs, we wanna see stock and fixed up times

while Rovens is busy testing I have something interresting on the DB9. I only tested at Midfield, A-Spec, no Driving Aids, but I will try other tracks later........
With a fully tuned car with Racing Tyres I got into the 1:06's
With a fully tuned car with Sports Mediums I got in the 1:14's
With a STOCK car with Sports Mediums I got 1:18
With a STOCK car with Racing Tyres I got 1:12
I didn't put a wing or NOS on the tuned car,but it is interesting that the fully tuned car with SM tyres lost 2 seconds a lap to a stock car with Racing Tyres. I never thought that a set of tyres can make such a big difference! :) I think the tuned car has a 200kw(or there about) advantage over the stock car. So it is cheaper to just buy a set of tyres.haha 💡
The DB9 special gold car is beautiful, I spend most of the time watching the Replays :sly:

LOL, sorry to say, but u found that out just now? there was a stickied thread of breaking and how it related to tires, in it it talked about how tires are what basically makes or brakes the car.

go read it and get some insight

i also recommend everyone to read the stickied threads, its stickied for a reason, its because thye are good threads are provide a wealth of information to the public. so everyone do urselves a favor and read the stickies

what do you mean with the ride height 101/116? do you mean 11-16? or 101mm ans 116 mm? please respond
I just made a set-up for the DB9. It's now one of my favorite tuned cars. Hope you like it...

This set-up is for the Aston Martin DB9. It's fully modified with the best parts, including the rollcage, without nitrous, and uses Sports Medium tires. It also gave 1'12.676 on Midfield.

Comments and Suggestions are welcome.

Suspension
-Spring Rate: 16.0 / 16.0
-Ride Height: 101 / 116
-Bound: 7 / 7
-Rebound: 8 / 8
-Camber: 2.2 / 1.6
-Toe: 0 / -1
-Stabilizers: 3 / 3

LSD
-Initial: 5
-Acceleration: 15
-Deceleration: 10

Downforce
Amount: 30 / 30

Driving Aids
-ASM Oversteer: 0
-ASM Understeer: 0
-TCS: 3

Brake Controller
-Brakes: 6 / 7

Transmission
1. Slide "Final" all the way to the right.
2. Slide Autoset to 1.
3. Then slide "Final" to 3.560.
This is the tranny trick, and this is a good base for tuning your transmission for each track.

He means 101mm/116mm. If it were 101cm/116cm, he'd have trouble getting into the car.
