Aaand, that's Aston Martin fully booked.
@VulcanSpirit, that puts you in the V12 Vantage.
@Hasnain282 you'll be joining me at Jaguar.
Fine with me; I was half-and-half between both classes so didn't care which Vantage I would end up in. Like the V12 a lot so looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of it.
Another update, as I've just looked at the entry list again. @Hasnain282, you're in a Gr.3 Jag. Gr.4 is full.
If you're undecided you can paint one brands car as though it is the others .
If Beardo had a problem with it he would've made a rule...
I’ll throw my hat in the ring, especially as Brands was the first ever circuit I went to.

I don’t think I’ve got a choice on the car have I?
Any livery rules on light covers between classes?
None at all Nice to have you on board, man.
Nope. None at all. Just the window banner, and tyre decal differences
Thanks. Although this is way longer than I’ve raced before so will be all ears for tips on surviving endurance races.
Might be an idea to try out the car too.
Don't crash. And writing down when you have to do your stops on a post-it helps.
The races can get spread out as they get further in so the best time to make ground is at the start whilst people are still bunched up, firing it up the inside at Druids Hairpin on lap 1 is a good opportunity to gain ground .
The temptation to bully the GT4 Aston's while lapping them is very strong. Gonna be a bit nicer to make fellow jags.
That might backfire if one of Gr.4 leaders makes themselves really wide, while you're fighting a V12 . .

Just gonna do the old senna tactic and launch it up the inside and expect them to move.
Why do they race multiple classes at the same time IRL? Just to save time? It seems like it would add to the danger for the drivers, which must drive the price of insurance up. Or could they not get enough fans out for two separate races? Do many races get messed up from a slower class car messing up one of the leaders in the faster class?
They do this a lot with races longer than a GP. It's always been done with endurance racing and I suppose it makes it more interesting for the faster classes having to navigate slower cars. In the WEC and at Lemans there are effectively 4 races at once, LMP1, LMP2 and the two GTE classes.
TYVM for the info Sir.
Thats why Toyota have been so dominant with there Hybrid system as they're the only ones using it ATM. They can just cut through the traffic a lot easier.
Sorry i didnt reply earlier, but I love racing Brands. And in the jag. But I wouldnt have been in as it would be my Monday morning. Will try to tune in to a stream when it kicks off though.
I believe this meets all of the livery regulations.
You guys and your goofy liveries.
I usually go for something fairly normal, but I found a few new stickers tonight and couldn’t help myself on this one.
My livery is ready!!
Edit: based on the XKR GT2 car.
Confirming my number for this race: #55 =)
...and I have a livery as well: Shoutout to @Adam Barber for providing an adapted version of his Emil Frey livery, all ready to race at Brands!! =)
Best group 4 livery on the grid. That said I am massively biased
Anyone running laps yet? GT4 specifically. Just hopped on and did ~8 laps and hit 1:28.7xx.
Interestingly I checked the British GT qualifying results from their recent round at Brands and they were in the 1:31-1:32's. I figure with RH tires we might be about the same. Not saying we should change but the times are not far off. Always fun to compare against real life.
I was running 1:30.2/3 while testing the BoP. That said, I was doing so on the DS4. Can take about a second off that with the wheel.
Gr.3 times are about 5.5/6 seconds faster.
