First lap times for Road Atlanta:
Found a rather rally-cross shortcut on a lap with Ford Focus, so I didnt count that one, but I was surprised of how much time it was shaving off of my otherwise best lap on that car.
Hovering around very low 1m21s with a Jaaaag as a real contender.
Obviously you are very good at mathematics... 😉 and you are quite early, mate! (The Focus is very interesting in deed. 👍)

My assumptions after a quick test:

We'll end up in Road Cars that
  • Have the craziest custom aero kit numbers / highest downforce
  • Have access to the rear aero (splitter)
  • Lowest drag and possibly the lowest height
  • Still have exceptional handling / grip at ~3200lbs / 1450kg
  • Maybe high torque machines can be bullies in the slow sections
  • Bonus if you have DRS or a hybrid boost system

I've got the Porsche 911 GT3 992 into the high 1:22s without the Racing Brakes (because I forgot them...) and slightly too short gearing.

If someone can figure out how to get the Aston Martin Valkryrie down to ~530hp, we're all doomed

The Gr.3 and Gr.B Road Cars may be held in check this round because of their limited front downforce.

Don't know the reason why i can't vote @Gorefast but it's ok .

Paul i think that without pp as a limit it's a bit complicated, plus you need calculator every time you try to set a car .

For road ( or what is characterized as such ) cars with SS tyres it would be great to set them at 600pp for example or something that can be useful on the game since many races have that limit or suggestion while will be also and higher.
For example the Smoothbore express at 670pp that we made is a blast at 700pp races .

and since i mention it @rheinaoi did you beat my lap or no ?

@smoothbore12 No, I'm still stuck at 52.1 on Tsukuba. Beating your time is still the hardest part of the Tsukuba challenge! If I do, it will be by 0.00...

I had better luck on Alsace, but only because that's one of my test tracks. 1:51.7 at 670pp. 1:51.1 with the full power of the Medium Turbo (~686pp  )

BIG EDIT: @smoothbore12, My Tsukuba time in the Smoothbore Express was stuck at 53.1. I jumbled the numbers, sorry. I did another 80 laps in the Smoothbore Express chasing your time and got 53.09. I would need perfect and smooth inputs to touch 52. Long live the Smoothbore Express

The poll about the next tack is closed and I thought I could change the poll into something else but that is not possible. So, there is no poll about engine swaps and Fake Road Cars...

Your first reactions show me that I don't achieve what I want: more possibilities and at the same time close competition. I am open for any ideas and think right now about giving a minimum weight like 1200 kg and Maximum Power of maybe 500 bhp. These numbers are for example and not yet tested.

Please let me know what you think about. Also there is still the question of engine swaps and Fake Road Cars. Thank you for your feedback and ideas! 😘

I am OK with the format of the next race. I definitely needed my laptop nearby to set up a car though. I really enjoy tuning and testing regardless.

The regulations of the next race will make the cars harder to set up initially, but the results of what people find could be more interesting.

Honda Beat?!? Really? 😂

I hope for some more feedback for the next round. At the moment I tend to ban engine swaps and Fake Road Cars...
