Hey,

Look, recently I've been trying to upload .jpg files etc. I've noticed that I can only upload .zip, .pdf and rar files. Could someone help please. :)

Cheers,

I fail to see a problem. Under Attach files it says: "Valid file extensions: pdf rar zip." Why would you think that jpgs would be included, too?

You're better off using imageshack, flickr, photobucket, tinypic, etc. anyway.

Because it wasn't 3 months ago I could upload .jpg, .doc, .ppt, etc etc. I don't know what's going on.

Cheers,

Simple, if it's not there anymore, Jordan must have removed it.

Yeah, I removed image formats from the attachment list earlier this year. You will need to use one of the recommended image hosts instead.

No worries. Thanks for the reply, but I did like the ability to actually put images as attachments. Meh, oh well, just the way things have to roll now. 👍 Thanks guys.

Cheers.

In my opinion, images as attachments suck. Particularly so when you browse some forum you aren't a member of after google brings you there and the images you need to use for reference are attachments and only able to be enlarged by members...

i recently made a flickr account to post my images. but when i go to add image, it does not come up, instead you have to go into the link.

What you should do is copy the BB code from the 'Share' tab, and take off the last part of code that says 'XX Image by PAWEL17 on Flikr'.
'Tis what I do when I upload an image 👍

PAWEL, that's a link to the Flickr photo viewer, not the image file itself (which is what you need to embed the image in your posts here). On the photo page, click Actions, then View All Sizes, then copy the address of one of those images, like so (this is done by right-clicking on the image - the exact option will differ depending on your browser).
