I've ran with/without aids since I started playing this game. The reason I picked the aids that I did is because I run a better lap with them. I have nothing against aids off, but this racing I wanted a faster dash to 10 laps.
i think it's absolutely okay to run those aids, just because YOU don't doesn't mean others shouldn't be able to. and if your good with those aids off then you should be better with them on, so why are you compaining?
I knew I would get a reponse like this from someone, so I'm not going to go down this road with you as it's been argued a million times: but I will say this, Skid recovery litterally takes 80% of all skill out of controlling the car. It is actually faster than without aids, even if you're the best driver in the country; even if I am driving to the limit and extracting every ounce of pace of out of the car without aids, it has been proven that you can actually take corners faster, and with far less effort with Skid Recovery Force on. I don't mean to offend you or anyone else that likes to run with it, it's great for novice/intermediate drivers (please don't interpret that as arrogant) but it just really turns the race in to a duller, lower skill contest that is full of mediocrity, not really allowing the better drivers to shine through. If you are not a purist in terms of driving skill or real "driving" competition I don't expect you to agree with me at all on this, or really understand where I am coming from, and that's ok - I respect your opinion even if I don't agree with it. The fact is, I was only interested because of the generous prizes being offered by the OP (thank you OP.)
