Just bought this beast and so far any little maneuverer the thing seems to want to spin out completely. Anyone else have trouble with this car?

Also, how many premium LMP cars are there in the game?

It has more Torque than god coming from veeery low revs, be very caeeful with the throttle, it anyways will get you quite fast reough corners even under half throttle.

There are only 3 (actually 2, the Audi and the 908 if you don't take in account the two liveried 908s) LMPs and 1 group C (787B). But worry not, WE GOT 2 PREMIUM CAPUCCINOS, 2 PREMIUM SWIFTS, AND 2 DAIHATSU LAME ROADSTERS!!! :sly:.

Don't forget the 307CC and the extra XK. Pointless, I tell you!

But yeah, otherwise, what he said. And the R10 is easily the slowest of the three.

I find the R10 to be quite faster around small city courses.. Drive carefully. DONT put a low end turbo on it...

Damn, and here I was watching a documentary about an Audi thinking it was the top LMP car in the game. I just wasted 4,000,000 then?

You haven't wasted the money, but you could have definitely saved money by buying the 908. If I remember it's actually cheaper than the R10. The 787B...that's a long way out compared to the R10.

R8 Race Car is much faster. In fact.. it's the fastest (or one of the fastest) LMP1 car in the game (except Sarthe and maybe N-ring because it's a bit slower on long straight parts than cars like Minolta or RCP92). Too bad all of them are standards and that there is no R15 :/

ps. Sorry if my English is bad ;)

Try some different settings on your camber, especially the rear. Go up as high as 2.5 if need be. Also, set your rear toe-in to 0.0.

Yeah, it's been a while since I used mine, but as I recall it felt a bit touchy. Like any good race driver worth his helmet, I adapted to it.

Thanks for the tip Jay. Ya I'll adapt. The R10 was a little reward for myself for bronzing the vettel challenge. I know the x2010 is the reward from that challenge, but that's like winning an extra large double cheese burger after an an extra large double cheese burger eating contest..

fixed.

It is a shame there aren't more premium LMPs. I bought the 908 first because it was the best car for the money. But I saved and saved and got the R10 only to be very disappointed. I LOVE my 787B though.

I woulkd absolutly love the R18. But, yea, I have the problem with the torque, just ease on the throttle quite slowly out of the corners. I prefer the 908 (Havent driven the 787B yet) I only bought the R10 to see what it was like, The cockpit view is pretty cool too.

R10 is good on technical courses, but not in high speed courses.
It has a quite contra-dictionary characteristics compared with the other LMP cars...

It's awkward that the Audi R10 is slower than it's R8 and Pescarolo counterparts. In it's debut race it absolutely murdered their lap times. Also, it's biggest attributes, reliability and economy are poorly portrayed.

It's a shame that the cars performance isn't as well made by PD as the exterior. A half-arsed job that appeared glorious but could be so much more, just like GT5.

R10? Slow? No way on earth. There's a slight power defecit, but I found it a better handling car over the 908. It understeers less. You do have to be on your toes with the throttle for both as they have more torque than a ship.

Peugeot 908 is really easy compared to what I've heard some people on about here. I can drive it at full speed without spinning.

The 307CC is an odd addition I agree but I love the inclusion of both XK's, they both have a different interior which at least makes them visually more separate than for example both R8's when in cockpit view (or both Suzuki Swifts...although they also have differently coloured seats which seems to be the only visual difference).
When I'm in the mood for some traditonal English walnut-veneer and (cream or tan) leather surroundings or a more 'manly' black leather and 'piano' wood GT-look (apart from their actual performance) I pick one or the other but maybe that's just me. ;)

I have my XKs in matching Salsa red.. great color.. whenever i want an eaay online cruise i take either one

As for the R10... tune it correctly and it will be wicked fast.. i used the hell out of mine i love it

Just manage the acceleration a little bit better, and maybe add on a small amount of negative camber. The R10 is great but because of its diesel engine it is weaker than other LMP cars. Although the diesel Peugeot 908 is one of the best...
