The R8 with stock suspension settings will win that race in B-Spec mode by many, many laps, even with an inexperienced B-Spec driver.

Read the section about how the test cars were set up, then read the details on the Audi, near the end. There's also some advice near the end on A-Speccing part of the race, using your B-Spec driver as a co-driver, so to speak.

Good point. However, he did not specifically request a suspension setup, did he?

Everything on my test cars was "tuned", except the suspension settings. He wants a general car setup that will win the race. I gave it to him.
