Audi R8 V10
Spec:
- V10 5.2L N/A (525hp - 530nm)
- 316kmh - 0-100kmh (3,9s) . . . . not bad!!!!
Despite bringing us cracking soundtracks from the RS4’s V8 and the classic Quattro five-cylinder, Audi is not perhaps the first carmaker you think of when it comes to noise. That is all about to change thanks to the fact a V10 has just been strapped into the R8 supercar. It is of course a similar unit to that in Lamborghinis, and is currently doing service in the S6, and sounds absolutely glorious.
It becomes available in Germany from the second quarter of 2009 at a base price of €142,400.
The R8 V10 is a new version of the sports section receives an imposing German V10 of 5.2 liters, capable of delivering 525 horse power and 530 Nm of torque. The 3.9 seconds to perform the traditional acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h to 316 km/h maximum speed figures are capable of putting in order the more powerful versions of the Porsche 911. The transmission to four wheels is complemented by a manual box of six relations, or, optionally, the box "R-tronic" sequential automatic with steering wheel controls.
This version receives new entries from air side, optical front and rear with LED technology and two exits to escape, instead of four.
