Why is the slip stream set to minimum on Tokyo for the players? and maximum for the bots?...the cheating and bullying by the bots is getting worse...I got 3rd but wanted to go ahead and get the win too so I could do it on the event but it won't let me. It blocks me every time I try to get 1st. I got 2nd 2 years ago but...frustrating!!!

So.

I assume you're talking about the WTC 600 race. In this case, the answer is simple: Polyphony is lazy and can't be arsed.

And it's nothing to do with slipstream. It's the fact the AI cars' builds remain the same, ergo, their PP far exceeding 600 PP, whereas the players must adhere to the restriction.

Furthermore, most cars have gotten nerfed with the PP readjustments, which is why most of my Tokyo 600 builds can no longer win.

In GT7, adaptation is the name of the game. Something that worked before but now doesn't? Too bad.

At most Tokyo tracks grinding on walls to turn the car in slow speed corners works best. If you are tirwd of the ai being unfair it doesn't hurt to be unfair back.

@Rob Kessler Assuming it's the WTC600 race, you might wanna see here :

Page 267, post #7991 - all these cars are capable of winning that race, stock. No tuning, no wall riding necessary !

I must be not good enough, tried with the Z-Tune and failed miserably. Managed 2nd place with a tuned Re-Amemya on SH, with wall riding, on normal difficulty.
