Personally, I would have liked to see the comparison between the professionnal driver and the other dude on both with and without gadgets. But, still, it was fun to see haha.

Yeah, I'd like to see a pro drive the car as opposed to a "clever bloke" on a show that's not actually about cars and driving. You can't convince me that the Audi is such a horrible car that it actually needs all that stuff just to go straight. I'm sure I saw him spin the thing literally going straight. How the hell does that work?

What sort of differentials does the Audi use? Are they limited slip, etc? Or does it use the stability control instead of a mechanical system to reign in the power?

Apparently they switched off the 4WD system as well? Not exactly fair in my opinion, since it's hardly typical...

I love how he had to do donuts and counterintuitively not countersteer in order to get results.

The thing that drives me nuts is that they had to bring in "engineers" and a computer to switch off three systems. Or, I could go over to the Nissan dealer and unplug the ABS sensors or any car there bar a GT-R probably, and all those systems would be useless.

Is it really that complicated, that Audi needed to do that? I'm calling spectacle and entertainment. All you gotta do is reach around the tire and take a plug off. Unless the car has some sort of limp mode, which is ridiculous. But probably true.

Ugh. Technology. I'll have a 90s Miata, Civic, etc, please. A 90s anything.
