I was tuning an S4 for drift and noticed that I couldn't swing the rear end with the E-brake and instead it would understeer like mad. Upon replay review I noticed when I was hitting the E-brake it would lock all four wheels in stead of just the rears. I tried changing the center diff setting and it stayed the same every time. Not to say it wouldn't drift I just couldn't use the e-brake to initiate. Has anyone else experienced this?

Well, i haven't tune any S4 before, but my guess is the abs and its ebd is trying to straighten the car. Try turning off the abs.

^ actually no. I have my T200- T400 picked already.

T200- 2000gt
T300- 240zg(I have one of each USDM and JDM Fairlady both setup the same)
T400- BMW 135i

Strangly, I'm most excited for T200 as out of all three the 2000gt is my favorite and would be competetive even in T400. I was demolishing 400+Hp cars on Suzuka, The Nurb and Tsukuba. It is also very good on Trial mountain just haven't raced there. Though my T500 slot is still open so the S4 may make an Appearance. I'm trying to avoid the various GT-R's and atypical Touge Choices such as the S2000 and AE86 and so on so forth. Lol, The Viper souted that much lmao.

Check the the drivetrain as power delivery might be on 50/50 with will cause this problem 👍

Competetive even in T400, huh?

Alright, let's have a quick race, shall we? Let's race at the Nurb! My NSX needs some warming up! :)

T400 will be mine. :trouble:

Kidding aside, care for a friendly battle? I'll bring my NSX along. :)

Anyways, back on topic. Try what Slender had suggested. 👍

i've felt exactly this also with the HPA Audi TT Motorsports FT565 twin turbo during a WRS contest at Cape ring south, trying to use hand brake in the last hairpin.

The solution is to throw it into every corner backwards, then keep on the throttle to slay those evil tyres and drag yourself out of the turn.

:sly:

I tuned mine for drift/hooning with a torque split of 35/65. It rocks.

Just saying I doubt I'll win but I don't doubt with a lil bit more practice at the nurb I think I can at least keep up with you and give you fight. I can't guarantee the skill of the other drivers but when I have enough of a lead to hold them back even on the longer fast sections. I think I'll have a go at that reverse drift a shot, The drift lobbies would have a fun time with that

edit: oops :dunce: I confused stigfarmer's and Slender's posts. lol I did have it set to 25/75, 15/85 and 10/90 at different times.

I'll just open up a lounge room for practice when I'm online. 👍

I tackle the Nurb in the dark, in the heavy rain, at least a few times a week. Most of the time, I don't use the rain. 👍 My 400 HP Amemiya FD3S (Training car) manages 7:30-40 on sports hard. 👍

Don't forget to go 60/60/60 on both diffs :sly: It slides on rails when you get it right. If you like I'll message you the tune when I get home.

^lol I was going 60/60/60 on just the rear lmao. Actually, I have been doing a bit of touge driving and I got really rusty at drifting so now I have to retune all of my drift cars because I don't drive the same way I did when I made them.

Let me get a couple laps down in it Mat. I will say you will undoubtedly get me on corner exit every time due to the power difference. What is the weight of you NSX though? I might have the in turn advantage.

Not sure. About 1080 kg? I can't check right now since I'm about to sleep.

Anyways, on Akina, Slender and Rob are pretty much better than me.

If it's the Nurb, I pretty much have everything buried in my mind.

Wait, you're gonna use your 2000GT? That would be rather unmatched, wouldn't it?

EDIT: Let's message each other instead, before the topic changes even more.
