Has anyone tried to win the 5 Allstar races with an Audi S4 fully tuned up to 601hp and with race mod? I have tried, particularly on Red Rock Valley, but I can't do better than 2nd place.

I don't know if the problem is with me, with the settings, or it's just that the car is too heavy. I have won this race with another race modded cars like the TVR Griffith Blackpool (with 551hp), but I just can reach the 1st place with the Audi.

If anyone has accomplished this win, please tell me which car settings are the best.

I'll admit to sweeping the GT All-Stars with an fully-tuned [R] Audi S4, but the problem is that it's about 500 pounds heavier than the competition for these events (and that I did it about 8 years ago, so I can't really offer much in the way of stats). I'd open the differential up to permit the front and rear wheels more slack, but you have to make a no-mistake race to win easily.

Have you dialed back the power and tried it on other courses? It helps if you know the dynamics of the basic car first, then you can predict better how it handles the extra power.

Oh, and the race-mod body for the S4 acts weird when you race it at SSR5.

Weird? How does it act weird on SSR5:confused:

Thanks for the advice, i'll try to see how it works.

Can't say I've attempted the All-Stars in my S4. I tried the SSR5 and RRV rounds yesterday, but that was round a friends house, and I dont think my concentration levels were up to the max. The best I can offer you is a close 2nd place against similar opposition in the SSR5 50-lap enduro:

Great fun, and had it not been for my own naievety with the tyre wear, I would've had the GT-One. Still aim to go back there and repeat the race.

It's also worth noting that my S4, whilst modified to the max, is missing a few components - I dont think its got a brake balance controller, or the ACS/TCS components and such. It's also dialed back to 496hp, which was a good level to be competitive with against the high-speed LM monsters at SSR5 without risking overkill. I think the maximum (601hp) might have led to overkill, I'm not sure.

I am aiming on beating the All-Stars with my S4, so I'll keep you updated of my progress if and when I attempt it, okay?
