Audi TT display error

hey guys and gals,

I was driving in the TT today and noticed something weird. Between the rev gauge and the speedometer, the TT has a little display with all sorts of info such as temprature and such. However, this little display is NOT readable in the TT cockpit view. Crucially, if you drive with the Audi R8, one can notice the very same display, only it is not blurred but sharp and readable.

It's not really a complaint but I was wondering if others had noticed it too and whether PD are likely to correct this graphical flaw?
 
That should be under warranty at Audi :lol::lol::lol:

I get fed up of people nit picking the slightest little errors in details, who really cares? Just play it and enjoy it. 👍

Very blunt.

If you're paying attention to the temperature instead of the track, you've got your priorities out of order :). But there are other errors too. For example, the displays in the Skyline R34 models don't work either. Oh well.

secondly, it's not that i'm paying attention to it, it's just that its an error that perhaps might be corrected if it got noticed, it just looks slightly odd, that's all. Perhaps it's just my copy, since no one else noticed it? I doubt it though

I'd be careful with comments like that, I've had my knuckles rapped by a mod before for suggesting someone doesn't reply in exactly the same manner you just have.

If you'd like me to be more considered in my comment, then here it is. I haven't noticed the issue you mentioned despite the TT being one of my favourite cars in the game, and I don't care in the slightest because one little graphical error doesn't even register on my radar when you put into context the otherwise brilliant graphics. Which is basically another way of saying I haven't noticed and I don't care...
 
Didn't realize the mods were that strict. To be honest, your second reply doesn't sound annoying or blunt at all, so yes, i guess that is what i was hoping for as an answer.

Listen, it's not that i'm looking for problems; I realize the game looks stunning, thing is I kinda do care, but not with a 'O my god they have to fix it' mentality. I was just curious whether more people has noticed it, that is basically all...
 
I haven't really noticed it but I have driven a lot of TT's at work and the little displays in the centre of the dash are hard and difficult to read in daylight anyways and only really easy to read at night.

I would like to see additions to the in-game cockpit such as the hazard lights coming on when you're ghosted, because at this stage, you really don't have much of a clue of you're ghosting or not unless you're looking at the chase camera.

And I agree with you GT, some replies are unnecessary. But then again some threads are too, so the issue swings both ways.

agreed, this thread isn't the best of all, we all know :) But the thing is, the very same display is crisp in the R8...and not in the TT

btw, I sat in an R8 and S5 today at the DTM race at Zandvoort today...audi's are awesome :)

My fault, I thought that you were just complaining about a small error that doesn't affect gameplay at all instead of just pointing it out. And besides, I wasn't being serious in my first reply anyway. Forum posts don't exactly convey emotions and vibes well. I didn't mean to cause any misunderstanding.

thanks for mentioning this. I don't own that car yet, so haven'T noticed the problem. I'd sure it,s just a glitch tho and will be sorted out in the full game.
 
The issue with the differently looking displays in the Audis come from the lowered resolution of the cockpit graphics. They don't have this on spot for all cars, so some cockpit details look a bit washed out. And so it happens that when you have similar cockpits, one might look different to the other one.

The displays in the Audis also show "Bayern 3", which is a Bavarian radio station. You won't be able to listen to that one on Suzuka, will you? :sly:

alright, well I guess PD will fix this lower resolution thing before releasing the final game; I can't see them not adressing this!
 
guys,its still prologue...dont you remember how it went with the previous prologue and than after gt4??.....

sure the cars are not perfect(or close to)yet,but this will surely come when gt5 finally comes out...no worries!!

as said above^...just enjoy the fantastic game we are allready able to play,and leave the final touches up to PD to fix in full game....they know how to do it and they surely will!!!!
