I was just looking on the australian ps webpage and found some interesting points about the Australian release of GT5:P . First it says
'Featuring over 40 meticulously detailed cars -- including vehicles by Ferrari, Lotus and Nissan -- for users to race on five beautifully rendered tracks from around the globe.'

then further down:
'Race 30 high-performance and exhaustively detailed cars, including vehicles from Ferrari, Lotus, Nissan and Mitsubishi.'

So how many cars will there be in the aus release? will it be the same as the US or EU version? or maybe 37 cars like the JP version? Or is it saying over 40 cars overall and only 30 of the featured cars are high-performance?

If no-one knows I guess I'l just keep playing the JP version until I find out on 28/3
 
Yeah the numbers and features are jumping all over the place, I expect a official update soon to the website as the release date is nearing. Although even then you don't know for sure untill the game is in our hands.

I just hope it has the number of car the US version is supposed to be getting, we soon should find out.
 
You could probably email Sony through the AU playstation site (au.playstation.com) and enquire about it. I've enquired about the release dates twice and helpful replies have come back within 2 days.

I guess we just wont know until we actually get our grubby little hands on it and check it out in person. Would be nice if they could give you a actual number and not throw around 3 different numbers. :grumpy:
 
cheers for the input. I had a look at the pre-order cases at eb games and it sheds no light either. I forgot to add in that the website says including photomode and quick tune features, so it looks promising it will be similar to the US release. In the end it doesn't really matter I'l be buying it anyway!
