Looking forward to seeing how you blokes go aginst my longtime TT buds Prancing Horse and Womble. Long way off yet, but i'll be waiting for pics and results of the Vic LAN 👍

do we need to bring anything? Ive never been to a ps2 lan party before.
Also what sort of times do you guys do, I dont really want to rock up and get my butt handed to me because I didnt prepare enough.

I will let you know if you need to bring any equipment as we don't know how many people are going yet. As long as you have a copy of GT4 a PS2 console, memory card and a controller you should be cool to play. As for the skill level I don't know about the others but I have completed the game 100% and have gold on all licences; I play GT4 almost every weekend. In the end it's about having fun, right. Playing LAN on GT4 is the best win or lose. 👍

Also posted at TorcTalk concerning Queensland guys 👍 -

"Heya boys.

Just wondering if any of you blokes are keen to meet up again in early 2006 for some GT LAN racing? Having already had one raceday we should be well prepared to get in some more fun for the second session.

Interest?

Dates?

I'd be happy to host another one at my place, but if someone else wants to hold it somewhere else i'll travel no probs. Just wanted to touch base.

Could make it a bit more organised and have some sort of trophy or similar for the QLD champ.....

I'm up for suggestions and to see who is still keen "

Im keen, though im busy for 1st half of Jan.

But im keen for sure, doenst cost a lot to fly down and dad will most likly join me also 👍

Should be able to bring a slim PS2, Memory card's, GT4, DS2 and maybe even the ol DFP 👍. And if i have to cables and if really nessicary a 8 port switch, but it has to be in mum's office mon-fri :p

I'm going to touch base with some of the other Queensland guys and see what we can pencil in. If Small_Fryz and VTRacing are keen then its already a winner 👍 . Still got your TV remote VTRacing (and your porn disk :sly: )

And i'd be more than willing to make a date that definately suits the blokes from up north who have to do all the travelling.

Watch this space guys.
