^ Yep, I know exactly what you're talking about. I think we would see Bathurst before any premium Australian cars, but considering we didn't even get Spa or any other significant international circuits in GT5, I don't think it's high on the priority list.

To be honest though PD's priority list confuses the hell out of me so who knows, I could be wrong.
 
Yeah I think most F1 simulators use RFactor Pro, which has a lot more tuning and 'simulation' aspects than the regular RFactor.
Would give anything to have one of those at home :(

Fair sure I want Bathurst, Adelaide and Symmons Plains in the game. As well as some of the great Fords and Holdens. Maybe a Valiant Charger as well :)
 
Im sure it somehow doesnt, but it just looks to me as if you would topple over backwards in that thing hahaha :lol:

I also have wondered, do the actual F1 drivers really sit in that position? With their legs so high above there lower torso... I mean jeez you reckon there legs would go dead from lack of blood soon enough???:scared:
 
Ever since Day 1 I've been out searching for a Commendore SS '04 but so far I only seen Moranos. I also want the Falcon XR8.

Are there any planned online races that happen between Aussie GT5'ers? If so, when do the races usually happen and what are the lobby rules? (PP limit, production car, modified, GT, prototype...).

The seating position does look very awkward, but god I want one, so much better than the flimsy table I'm using for my G25. :indiff:
 
Check out Pagnian Imports. There the sponsor on my page should be the same for yours. They are an Aussie company, I have one of there extreme seats and its awesome. Not on the scale of the Playseat but than neither is the price!

That seat looks damn awkward. F1 drivers do sit in pretty much that position, what gets me is how far down into the car they really are. In a front on view you can see how they're only just peering over the nose of the car. Must take a lot to get used to.

Which gets me back to the gaming seat shown . . .

The seating position of an F1 driver is for aerodynamics and safety yes. But that doesn't make it something worth copying over to a gaming seat. I look at that seat and all I think is: That seat looks damn awkward!

I've got 2 Commodores and seen a quite few more go through the UCD. The XR8 seems to be very rare though. It took 1200 game days to get mine.
 
Yep v8s smoke nascars because at least they can drive on circuits not in really usless ocall things that you don't neff much effort to race on!!!
 
I'm from the states and I can say there is nothing we do stateside that's nearly As exciting as the Aussie v8 supercars! To even question that NASCAR compares is stupidity! I just wish I could see the races live broadcast here instead of on the net. Just picked up the falcon and it handles incredibly. You guys know how to have real races, and not some oval nonsense! I can't wait for the day when I get out there and see one for myself. I wish there were some more Aussie cars in the game, u guys have real musclecars!

Mate, you need to get across to Australia to spend 4 days up at Bathurst during the Bathurst 1000 race.
 
I think that they should also have v8 supercar races in gt5 with all the v8's in it if they're going to have all the nascars 

We've gotta get Kaz's attention, after all, he only wanted to add NASCAR after he went to America and liked the sport. We should get him here to watch some V8s :P

The only reason he chose NASCAR is due to the enormous marketing potential. If you get the Americans into GT then far more copies will be sold than on Australia.
 
I love the V8 Supercar races I only get to watch them online. I would love to visit Australia and see one live.

It would've been great if GT5 did put in some of the newer models in there, especially the hsv models.
 
I demand to see a Ford Falcon XB Coupe in this game! I only wanted GT5 because it was rumoured to be featured in the game.

I would happily pay for DLC with an XB Falcon and Bathurst!
 
I'd been keen to see any old school Aussie muscle in the game. Show the world that they can compete with American muscle. :-)

Australian muscle is the best in the world! The XB Falcon is everything the Mustang could have been :sly:
