Good to have the KEIHIN for GT6. As my signature and avatar say, you can imagine which car I want to pick for season 2 =)

PS: I don't know if I'm the only one who has problems with this new gtplanet. For instance, I write something in the thread but then actually appears a dot "."

At least we have a couple of hsvs to choose from.


I like that real time weather feature , now we dont have to vote on weather conditions just set it to real life and deal with it

He guys, the OP say our last race is the 16th of November. We have a week off?
 
Yea I guess the way I played the schedule I was able to find a week off. All & all, I'm sure its much needed at this point plus having 2 wks to get Le Mans down is always a good thing. Zach's the one who does the spread sheets and that's the worst job of them all being we have 5 spread sheets so I want for him to have time off too. :bowdown: Zach,.

I haven't been posting much because honestly I hate change in this new gtp site is nothing but that, but Thanks goes out to Seth because the wrench icon takes the op back to it's original HTML code which I know how to manipulate well so "I'm back in action again" as Seth would say. Seth, you get a :bowdown: too mister! 👍

I expected more out GT6 car wise, but all & all were getting 4 to 6 new chassis added to the FIA GT3 series, or possible FIA GT1 depending on votes for next year/season, and we also need to decided on new hp figures for Autobacs Super GT's too. I got to say I do like the 518hp range in the Super GT's after racing with PURE's Championship. But I was a little disappointed seeing if I'm not wrong that the only new versions of Super GT's are HSV's only. Those cars are already dominate and now the only 12' models coming in or all HSV's plus some 11's. Im not totally sure but i dont think were getting even 11' model Toyota's & Nissan's. On the good side tho, the NSX's are out and Team Honda is know sweet looking HSV's! I like looking at the HSV's better anyways; I actually prefer the 2013 HSV's over the new 2014 NSX's that are coming back next year for 2014 Autobacs Super GT (Irl). I will be looking forward too the new tracks and I know the Ascari track already, its not a major circuit with unbelievable width and smooth curbing, but it is long has hell with turns like Nurburgring.

The current gtr in super gt produces in excess of 530 ps. So if we use 540ps as rough guess then the bhp is 532 i think if we start the blancpain first then we can balance super gt
 
The bi weekly switch is going to be between Super GT and FIA GT?. Blancpain I'm doing separately like I did this year. Blancpain will race the irl circuits as they race them throughout the real irl calendar to clear any confusion in the future for other readers. But yes we will get that data you are talking about because GT6 Blancpain's 1st race schedule is going to be the 3rd week of January when the Real Rolex 24H launches in 2014. With Bathurst & Nurburg coming up next in line. Blancpain will stay in the spot race section and be no commemntment open enrollment again, but even tho Its staying in the spot race section, I will be keeping track of points and electing a Champion come Oct, Nov 2014 after the irl racing season ends.


Blancpain will be affected by these new conditions implemented into GT6, Thank God!
As part of yesterday’s GT6 info blowout, Polyphony Digital released a short trailer which highlights the game’s new weather system, time transitions, and astronomical simulation features.

~The sunset and sunrise times at actual events featured in the game, such as the Nurburgring and Le Mans 24-hour races, will be accurately represented. Even the stars and constellations shown in the sky at night will be in their correct relative positions.

~U.S. Gran Turismo producer Taku Imasaki also confirmed to GTPlanet yesterday that you’ll be able to play the game with real-time weather, which re-create meteorological conditions at the actual track in the real world.

I don't mind racing with time prgression, but I don't really care to race in the rain for the last race of the season.
So, no it doesn't sound good. Rain doesn't sound fun to me at the last race. 👎

They make about 500-530hp. The Lexus SC430 uses the same engine as the Rebellion Lola Toyota but with smaller air restrictors. That car has about 570hp.

My suggestion:

-Only SC430, GT-R and HSV (no more Supra's, Z's or NSX's)
-Power around 530HP (now we are about 3 - 4 seconds slower than real life GT500's)

I goggle imaged all the current cars and we are getting all these base models that popped up as the 2014 Super GT line up, with a original Supra chassis that looks like the current chassis we are driving now. Have a look at that Will it changes everything, plus I wouldn't mind the extra confirmation also.

Yeratel I thought the schedule had your date on it. If you really want to race this weekend I can get a vote going, but I didn't get any practice in for Le Mans dry or wet. I can do and arrive & drive if we goofed the schedule?

Hey, did you guys see the "base car" models in the car list? This includes the GTR GT500 '08, HSV GT500 '12, SC430 GT500 '08, NSX GT500 '08, 350Z GT500 '06 and SUPRA '05 GT500. Also the Stealth models are available for purchase in the dealership since they're a part of the car list. So counting those "base car" models (which might be paintable) and the 3 new HSV's (Keihin, Raybrig and 25th anniversary) we have 9 'new' GT500 cars in GT6. In addition, you get two GT300 BRZ's ("base car" and R&D sport) a base car of the Garaiya GT300, a base car of the Impreza GT300, a base car RE RX7 GT300 and base car Lexus IS350 GT300. BTW, fresh said he might not race this series at first for GT6 since he wants to concentrate on lmp's.

I take it you didn't read my post earlier. Will and Ghaek were shouting off different ideas but I brought up how I google imaged all the cars and the '08 base models were the 2014 Super GT line up. There was even a base model for a current Toyota Supra chassis like the Yellowhats Supra. Hmmm, yea dense grid next year. We can run the HSV's for Honda and/or the 2014 Honda NSX Prototype chassis. All I know is the NSX's are out! Guys if you can't wait please google image the new GT500 cars and see what Seth & I are talking about. We're getting the current Le Mans winning Audi's, the most recent Peugeot, and last newest Bentley prototype chassis (the #8 car). The New Bentley or Bentley EXP looks a lot like the #7 but has the aero package of a more recent Prototype's some Im sure ill see on grid via gtp'

With the big a.. Pure race going on now I was in fear we wouldn't get at least 8 drivers, but I can create it and see what kind of turn out we get. Honestly I was going to skip it, but ill create a op in the interest check and see if we can get atleast 8 sign ups for it' 👍

O yea since Mr Jordan forgot to give us color font's, and post multiple quote options I will be double posting my ass off until we get our 1st update of this new site. He did it, not me!
 
Yeah, Ghaek is right. The 2014 cars are not close to what the 2008 cars are. They run a standard spec carbon chassis, currently they do not. They also follow DTM style aero rules and run 2L turbo 4 cylinder engines. Currently its 3.4L v8's. Theyre not as wide either, 1900mm vs. 2000mm 👍

Snap I like the 08 chassis better. It's cleaner looking and wider. I know the newer one is more performance with all the downforce foils, but that clean look is,... Well clean looking!
