Hi, my name is Rick and I'm a Autolog Addict. Autolog has been so addictive I've only completed 16% so far. My latest quest is trying to break 2:00 at SPA since my fastest friend beat me to it.

I think I already have you... I'll check that Laguna Seca time and then i'll probably beat it before I wake up :D

The Ford GT1 is one of my favourites cars in this game (not to mention real life...)

I'll be playing career events for a bit longer too, with the levelup rewards not showing up on my side. ;)
 
I just wish the speedwall was split up by class. I took the Gallardo for a spin on Monza Jr. in quick race, so my score is now way above the <500 PI D-Class cars. So no good way to compare anymore if I want to run a bit of Modern D against my PSN friends.
 
I will never add none of you punks in Autolog or my life will go to hell... Ok maybe one guy to get that recommendation trophy but thats it! :D

I m usually 2-6s away from the world/regional records so there is no point in adding one of you speed demons in here I cant hold a candle to anyway. :guilty:
 
I'll have to check the events back to back. I'd like to be on top five on every event but it's though :(

And then there are so many events for so little time... But I have to think positive. Every time I try I earn money towards my GT1 cars collection :D

Rom, you have some amazing laptimes there. That Koenigsegg at Hockenheim... how the... I dont even... and stupid me thought my lap was good! :D
 
I hate that car but I had to do it... just accept the POS handling and be gentle.

If only the manufacturer had that wing on production units... The Stig proved that it work wonders.
 
Yeah, I know man... but tbh, I thought it would be even worse. Its also buttugly. Definitely gonna get rid of that POS once I got the leno trophy. And as soon as my hangover is gone enough to drive in a straight line I m gonna try that event again, your time has to be beaten mate! :D

I just send you an invite, im wondering whats your time with CCX , Rom is first in my autolog in this event, but im not far behind...
I have to admit that in several events Rom is very fast.

BTW @ Rom, there is no way in hell I ll ever drive that other horrible POS around Hockenheim again now that I got a time good enough for 1st! Yes, I m talking bout the SLR Moss, if I was Sir Sterling I would kick either Merc or SMS in the Face for assembling the legendary name with this craptastic car!

I just realized, besides the Murcie and the GT I have a hard time finding a supercar in Shift 2 that I really like... :dunce:
 
TIP: Zonda Cinque (need NFS: HP for this one) and Mclaren F1... cockpit mode... dusk... heaven.

About an hour to do 1:07 with the Stirling Moss POS to find minutes later that TexasTyme beat it... how frustrating.

@Texas, stop doing that to me. And PLEASE try to use the brakes once in awhile :D
 
Yeah the F1 is lots of fun in the old vs new already, it will probably be very cool once you own it to tune it, shame its so freakin expensive...

I still have lots of supercars to try out yet, so I m sure I ll find one or two I ll like... Zonda R, Huayra or the 918 for example.

What I really hate about most supercars is the massive swaying effect on the straights. Especially with the Apollo and the Radical which should be really controllable and stable in real life, or am I wrong there?! :crazy:
 
Lost the LE events (old vs new) before I tried the F1 or at least I don't remember it... been awhile now... :D But I bought one yesterday :p

The Radical... I understand why its called that way now. Let me suggest you Terronium-12's tune for that car 👍

For the money, GT3/GT1 events should do it. Just keep trying to master the tracks and beat some friends records.

If you have some friends like TexasTyme you will earn a lot of money and curse at the speedwall a lot... :D
 
I find HP's autolog alot more addicting since skill is more of a deciding factor there then in Shift 2 where it's tuning knowledge that makes or breaks you even if you have the skill.
 
I think of it as another level. I'm no tuner but skill its still important. I've beaten GT1 times with a GT3 at Brno :p

After all, its a racing game and IRL a bad tuned car will not win as easily as a car with a good setup.
 
@Rom: I'm glad that I'm keeping your bank account healthy! I try to grab as many regional/world records as I possibly can. I rarely get to hold the top spot with my friends as well :grumpy: The best tip is to shorten braking points (cue GT5) and find a way to get each car to dive into the apex as fast as possible.

I generally hate all the supercars also. The Porsches are weak in front downforce, the Paganis are all over the place, and the AWD cars are difficult to tame with 1000+ hp.
