A street car named desire eh? Well I went for a picture that exemplifies that more than just with the car. I got my buddy shooting the car as well, come one what's more desirable then photographing a photographer photographing a hot car? Just thought it might be a bit different.

How exotic are we talking, because as it stands I'm going to struggle to get a shot in for this one.

Would halo or low volume models from mainstream manufacturers count?

Due to a lack of entries this week I'll allow it.

"Exotics"... :rolleyes:

What's wrong with the theme?

I'm actually a little surprised there aren't more entries, especially since week 38 saw 5 photos of cars that would fall under that class.

Yay - I can play too now. Well, after the weekend, I have some exotics on the good ol' D60. I have the only V10 R8 in Australia (seen in gallery) and I have a few shots of a CLK63 Black Edition. I didn't get too many good shots though, which is why I'm going to have to settle for a shot of a CL63 AMG (hope it's exotic enough :scared:).

I think the theme is quite good, the only reason I was like "pfft, exotics..." was because I don't get to see any around here, so my chances of even getting a candid shot of one are slim at best.

As far as the number of entries, I'm surprised as well, seeing that many people that usually post shots of exotics on their galleries haven't entered this week.

BTW: "Exotic" in this theme means "modern-rare", right? Or is it ok if it's an older sports car?

I think older is fine, too. I think my entry is going to be from 1985. ^^;

EDIT: I changed my mind. I forgot how terribly grainy those 288 GTO shots were....

Ahhh.. cool. I thought maybe that I might have missed the memo on the "exotics" popularity :lol:

And I know it's a bit late but older cars would have been acceptable. Personally when I think of "exotics", it conjures up images of the great 80's & 90's supercars like the Countach, F40, EB110... but at the same time I think of even older cars like the Morgan & Muira as well... I guess a better description to exotics would have been desirable sportscars.
