Thank you for taking time to read this and I will hope to get a good number of entries on Wednesday the 30th of December.

Not certain if I got the model of this vehicle right this week. I did do a little snooping and I came up with it being 1967 Hustler, however please correct me if I'm wrong (as the chance of that is pretty high )

Nice one Speedster. Love the desaturated look to it 👍

Oh and nice one NISM0, everyone has wicked entries this week.

Merry Christmas all!

Nismo, Syntax, Speedster and Roo - all your shots are epic.

The Cloverleaf is awesome. Its a really nice shot and has great lighting. 👍

Syntax's shot is also awesome. I don't know how the exit of a winding S-bend could be portrayed any better. Love the colours and the sharpness - two things I hope to improve on. 👍

Speedster's is also great. It captures the close racing had by single model races, and the desaturated look gives a feel of the distance of the spectator, which somehow adds to the feel of it. 👍

And the Mini shot is great too. While I would like some different pp done to it...I don't really know why, the subject is really great and full of character. Shows the passion of those who live and breath cars that don't bat an eyelid to the thought of performing major work on your own car. The picture tells a lot, which is great. 👍

Thanks dude. Now where is your submission???? :p

Look at you two being all modest and such :p

Well there's no point talking yourself up for a win when you have a CAMS Accredited photographer in the comp. :scared: :p

Sweetshop: Nice framing, but I find it a little bit dark, myself. I'm guessing it was to distinguish the white roof of the porker from the caravans? I'd like to see it with some bighter bits in it, because the framing is textbook out of a magazine style. 👍

Yeah really, eh? Plus - I have nothing at all really. I'll be surprised if anything I manage to put up is even remotely worthy.

Yes, perhaps. My monitor brightens things up so it looks better on mine probably...but it could still be a little be lighter. Though, as 80Y said, the framing and composition is excellent.

Well - I don't have too much artillery, because I never know what to enter in the open comps, so I thought I'd stick with something safe.

This was taken round the same time as that blue Porsche shot. While I could have entered the blue Porsche shot, I'm not.
I have no idea what makes people like it so much, but I tried to make it look like the same time of day (because it was, the blue Porsche was parked to the left of the frame) sooooo...yeah.:dunce:

Porsches at the end of the day.

80Y 2C2, I like the colours. Really conveys that end of the day feel 👍

Cheers :D

Maybe you should start planning transport and coming up to the Bathurst 12 hour which is on 12-14 Feb.

Hmmmmm. I know I have a distant friend in Bathurst....could probably set myself up over two nights. Hmmmmmmm

*head explodes*

EDIT: Good news! I brought up the idea at lunch, and dad didn't show immediate opposition :D. Would be great because then I can rock up at the track at 5, unlike if I set off from here.
Its great - "needing" to go to it for extra material. Hehehe. :sly:

Heh. Yay for no immediate opposition!
I hope you have a good time, and take some fantastic photographs. I know you will.

Due to my unexpected unavailability tomorrow...this contest with close on the 31st instead, so everyone has an extra day to change or submit their entry (same as the Model Photo Comp)!

👍 cool. I'm waiting on confirmation for a media pass but even if I didn't get creds I'd still be there. As it's a 12 hour race, there will be some good opportunities for early morning and late evening shots as well.
