but i can't finish the match

How can I solve it?

yea i notised that, The AI ceep racing after it reach the end of race/finish line + the clock stop counting. I think if we deactivate the Autopilot with a cheat before the end, then the race will end normally. , if we take over the driving. Then we get the win registered and the price car.
I remember i had a autopilot cheat code who the driver did not pit, and i could turn the AI driver off with another cheat when i wanted, midrace, but i didn't tested the finish line trick to get the win result. (may be it was the US version).

Thanks, Yi'll try it out. I love B-spec driving, (some (pervos) like to watch car porn and go and watch close interacting racing cars on track making sparks between them. hehe)
I have many hours B-specing 9 hours races with tuning david cars against goliat enemy. with the alpinw a310 winning several times over the s2000GT. The stupid AI went wasy to fast into the corner when tyres was worn and slided out with the heavy rear engine car, (60% weight on the rear)
(look at my profile pic, i have that car btw, but it needs repair). Good to have a hobby when i retiring from the job life.
There is a F1 manager game who i thing is tuning the car and race it, but F1 is not so sexy. I'm having fun now tweaking my grid for close racing, it depend how you setup tyres and suspension ++ and hp. Also when you put better tyres on front wheel than back on 4wd cars they drift alot, lol and they manage to stay on track.

I FOUND yesterday a autopilot code here https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/xenns-cheat-device-codes-includes-demo-codes.187354/ where the AI guy pits and finish the race. I also notised he was a bit more hardwired to the game since best laptime was registered + the rumble pad vibrated (so i turned it off in game setting, some wheels have own switch i guess).
The game will lock up if i have the autopilot activated (or forget to turn it of) when i selct to start event, so i have to wait to the start race screen.
To be able to switch camera between cars (up and down on pad) you have to take a short test drive first, then you switch camera to cinema modus (hold R1 for a second, using the extra camera race cheat). Go into pit again, and then you are ready to start the race and you can start manually by driving yourself or activating autopilot. You can switch driver between you or AI anytime in the race. (Maybe at first pitstop).
First press pause on spacebar or ingame. and then open the cheat list. - (a R1+ L1 and R2+L2 for turning it on or of would be handy). Then you can take over the driving. or him do the driving.
I have 2 cheat , one for turning AI on and one for turnin him off.

UPDATE........: I forgot this. IF you start the race with AI pilot. then when you activate autopilot off cheat, (turn first off AI on cheat) then you cant take over for the dead/snoozed AI driver. WHAT you have to do is (if you plan to take over the driving) start the race yourself and drive a 100+ meter, THEN the AI will know that there is a second driver in the race and let you take over the car. neat yes.
You can select to drive the mid part of the race and activate him on again.
One day AI or the terminators will take over the world. lol

ONE thing more. I forgot to say. remember to save often (fastest way is pressins system , -up left on duckstation-. and then select save state. THIS is because game can freeze if you forget to turn off autopilot cheat and you go to next the race.

I also use the custom cheat for using 5 highest listed cars (tuned by me) in the garage as race opponents. (in garage press start button to move selected car to the top)

here is the Autopilot cheats i use now on the pal version. If you go to this link you can probaly convert the cheat codes into other regions from pal (the japanes only work for v 1.0 ntsc -j)

BTW i often turn of/toggle UI during b-spec race pressing down left R1 stick to enjoy the spectacle racing. I also often turn of ingame music (audio setting in ducktation) and use my own on the hdd.

Code did not work on mine 2 version (orginal PAL version and the patched Gran Turismo 2 Plus (Beta v7) Europe version)
Also, It's not smart having (D-Pad Up = on | D-Pad Down = off) to ativat AI driver, since i use those to move camera between each car i want to follow, (like on gt4 gt6 and gt7. In real time on gt2 btw and not by wathing the replay.)
What i would like is joker code to turn on or off my Ai cheat code in race by pressing R1 + L1 or any combination of the 4 front buttons on the joypad. May also useing L3 and R3 anlog stick pressig them both down for activate AI and R1 + L1 for deactivate him. Then you don't mess with R2 + L2 if you use gas and brakes on those.
ANyway i'm veryhappy with mine AI autopilot cheat code, I can drive, then turn him on or off anytime inrace, if i start driving myself a fiew meters.
Only -minus is freezing on the beta7 plus pal version i use if i forget to turn him off into the pre race menu, when maps and cars are loaded. +I have to pause the game and load cheat menu to turn him on or off. (in the pit i dont have to pause the game because i have time then.)

BTW: the game turns into a simulator when you equip all the standard road cars in the race with professional controll tyres. (the ones between rally and sport tyres). Defult the game has normal tyre which arent tormal on the road.
With the Custom Grid code i posted you can meet the top five cars listed in your garage, in the race, and you also have the same tyre.
Most 4wd AI car handle great one better grippy front tyre and you can hav fun watching a bunch of 4wd cars haveing a drift battle and lots of smoke. BUT having pro/sim tyres on the rear and normal on front is a big difference, - less so between sport tyres in front and normal on the rear.
Also heavy cars suffer more with low grip tyres , so maybe give them one tier better tyres for balance.

Maybe we should rename this tread to GT2-B-spec modus

I found a new alternative A.I. B-spec Bob autopilot for the pal version. He pit and finish races. And he also has some text info when driving (similar to when you have pitstops)
The cheat code has a neat function were you can turn him directly off and on mid race with the controller combinations.
For the most i remove all onscreen text when watching, by hoding down L3 stick (cheat code). To enable TV camera aka Eurosport, so you can see the race trackside, then do a test drive a fiew meter and hold R1 until the TV camera gts activated. Then you can start the race and you can follow all the cars what they do, and swithing between them by pressing up or down on the D pad buttons.
The code has one weakness that the game probably freezes if you forgot to disable auto load him in the cheat menu. but i's ok to have it on between races in a cup , because the cars are already loaded into the memory in the first race.

Only based on GT2 joker command that i found in duckstation using C.E "Anything outside GT2 will have different joker command"
Most of site don't have L3 & R3 joker command (Not sure if is able to translate my joker command address to other region) have fun using this ref

yes i noticed that some joker commands can execute many different codes, but on different regions of the same game they might not work.

BTW, i'm in the prosess of tweaking all GT1 versions (patch 1 lol) to have a better game experience, and release new features to use in Duckstation.
And have more endurance races choises on more tracks, because no rubberband and more tactics with pitststops tyre wears is more fun.
I have found new camera features to use while driving, special with autopilot activated. I have mapped D-pad left to turn on AI autopilot And D-pad right to turn him of, That way up and down D-pad is free to use changing camera to the other cars racing. I have also mapped normal racing view to D-pad left. which i need going back from the new R1 TV race camera aka aurosport. who is activated holding R1 for one second and a added to the normal change view button. I can move camera to all cars and go inside them by pressing normal camera with D-pad left. And i have a dedicated button to turn of or on the HUD on all cameras. (to go back from inside AI car i press/hold R1 to change to TV camera, then you can move it back to your car.
Anytime during race you can svitch between you or the AI driving. And now i don't have to thinking on turning AI off in cheat, because it don't autoload starting an event and then freeze the game. since the Joker D-pad code left is blocking it from autoloading.
Turn on the cheat and try the new 60 lap endurance i mapped by selecting grand valley 300, then you end up on the reverse night R11 track. Endurance - Course Modifier - Grand Valley 300 > All-night ll 60 laps. (if you think 60 laps is too long, then you can pause the game and change realtime midrase the numbers with the Total Laps In Race Modifier u 1.1 cheat (defult is 9 if activated).

By not having mapped features to R3 then ngcon contoller is usable also with less buttons on it.

BTW: I think we start adressing the BIG Elephant/deadzone in the room/Emulator LOL.
For many years ago i played gt1 and 2 a lot with EPSXE and the controller deadzone was similar to orginal ps1
Duckstation has worse at 0% in dualshock setting. I turned on show controller input onscreen in gpu setting and i switched to exsternal TV camera view in GT1 and 2. Then it shows 33% movement on controller before the wheels start turning. And if i select ngcon as my controller and map it to my ps4 or xbox contoller, then i can get the deadzone down to 7% when fully tweaked deadzone in GT1 (so then the steering is great. (but now i have no rumble action)
I don't think my goverment would allow me to drive a slow lorry/truck with this loose deaadson joints slark. and special not a racecar at those speeds,
It's cinda similar to playing a first person shooter with very high lag on the internet connection., and it kill some of the fun.
The game has some deadzone inbult plus filter to calm down twitchiness in the stick.

Anyway , back to the subject. I love my new feature and mappings in gt1 and i think you will too. Try it out, Take backup of you cheat file and duckstation ini, and just try out the beta 1,1 build new autopilot + camera + events tweaks to the game. by using my files, It cant hurt trying the free DLC lol. It's nice to drive without HUD, just you and the road, with clear view.

my plan is to setup the pal and ntsc-u 1.0 versins also and maybe the japanese too. It take days to make the game better. and dig up codes. and i take it easy when i have the time.

The Attach zip file contain 3 files
for the Gran Turismo (USA) (v1.1).bin SCUS-94194
1 is the cheat file , 2 is the memcard with a lot of money and some cars and 3 is the duckstation settings.ini.





On one of the picthures you see the toyota 2000 GT and down left on the photo you see the contoller input showing 33% movement to the right. with zero movement on the wheel.
