Your excuses don't work on me. You want to see a great team that is playing through injuries and still winning? Look no further than the Leafs. Tied for 1st overall in the NHL and without a lot of their key players a lot of the time. Everyone has stepped up there game to make up for the injuries of the "star" players and now they are the hottest team in the league.

Ah the perfect place to talk about my beloved Red Wings

. I really don't think they are going the distance this year, but I think one of the leagues hottest players as a rookie is Pavel Datsyuk. This guy is going to go a long way in the NHL

Maybe, or maybe it's just that we have the greatest fans. Think about it last year our team didn't make the playoffs but montreal had the best attendance out of all of the league.
