sure, I agree. Go right ahead. If you want a smaller avatar, go right on ahead and have one (any smaller and you wouldn't be able to recognize half the cars in my avatar...)

Jordan should go through the avatars made by members here he likes and put them in for the lowly new members. I've made plenty and they're mostly 100x100. Most of them suck, but it would be nice for the newbies, I guess. Maybe a lot of work, though. Yeah, definitely too much work for something so insignificant.

Having a dedicated thread such as this one is a cool idea.

Well, you don't actually know that; someone may not have known that being obscurely observant is uncool, and may be able to learn from Curveball's mistake. So, for the sake of the won't-be screw-up, I thank you, curveball for stating the facts so bluntly.

Now I actually get to use this in context!
If Irony were made of strawberries, we would be swimming in smoothies right now. Swimming!

Hrm, Tim, your a witty individual. I'm surprise you couldn't think of something better than that smoothie remark. :(

Anyway, back on topic kids. :)

Of course! You never noticed that my avatar's a PNG? ;) (The border wouldn't come out nice if I exported it as a GIF, since it's that binary transparency crap).

I know IE 5 won't, but doesn't IE 6 support it?
Internet Explorer does not support alpha transparency, but it look alright in Mozilla. You'd think if IE has better support for standards than most browsers, it'd have support for something simple like alpha transparency. Stupid Microsoft.
