Avatars!! need some help, who here is good at them?

Who here can do one of those slide show avatars, I need one

Just get a gif animator. They're very easy to use. This a decent one I've used and the unlimited trial is free.

Thanks for the program! I tried it out and made my first animated avatar for myself! I feel like a 5 year that just learned how to spell his name!

And about my avatar...it's the back of a Mazda 6, while it's driving...I had to make it that small and bad looking cause it was way too big file size wise...

I got a new one on the way, just wait. Wait damnit!!!

heck I could of done that using Adobe Imageready. Thats how I made mine. I don't know how to do transition effects though.

there was a CLK GTR, a CLK LM and a CLR (that's the one that flipped 3 times)

btw, what's the point in having an animated gif of a non-moving tach?

Your not alone. I can't use it either. I don't make animated avatars anymore - I like still frames.

Well, I'm a Mazda 6 insider, so I got the 6 CD, and it has a dozen videos. For some of my other ones, I just search the net over and over, and I've got over 700mb of Mazda movies.

To make them an animation, I open them up in GIF animator, get the segment of frames I want, get it the right size and such, and save it as a gif file.

The hard part is making it within the limit while still having the animation run good(frame rate and number of frames) and look good(as in the highest bit level possible for the size of the file).

Well Jordan use to have a thingy where you could click on the avatar and it would pop up with the links to the programs...

My program is the Ulead GIF animator 5...I think you can find it at www.ulead.com .

www.download.com has some freeware ones.

But, I recommend Jasc Animation Shop 3 and Ulead GIF Animator 5. Head over to www.kazaalite.com to get them for free.
