how do u get those pics under your names in the threads

and u will have to excuse all my questions i am a newbie and i dont care if u people yell at me and such

Take you cursor and direct it to the top of the forum page and click on "faq" there you will find the answer you are looking for.

The pics are called avatars, and you can set them by going to your user control panel. Do this by clicking on the small blue button that says "user cp". After this, go to "edit options". At the very bottom of that page, there is a section that says "Avatars, more info". Click on that, and the rest should be self-explanatory.
