Average Lap Time

It's amazingly easy. After crossing the finish line, I note the total time it took to complete the race. Then divide it by the number of laps I ran.

Have current Educational standard slipped so much that kids can't calculate an average? Or were you wondering if the stats showed up as a "Special" Screen after the race?

It would be a nice thought if PD did put a race analyzer on the game for those type stats. fast lap/average lap/AI info, and other such. Bt then again, this is a Drving simulator, not a racing simulator.

Nice to see that you tok the good natured rubbing well. Welcome aboard, and hope you stay is enjoyable.

Just one more question about the Replay Theater. Is there a way to fast forward and rewind? I dont think there is but just double checking. I wanna write a write up.. but it looks like i'll hafta re-race it if i wanna log everything :)

I haven't been smart enough to find it, if there is. When you get later on and the races are longer, it gets to be not worth the effort of watching just to see that cool pass you made on lap 12...

Welcome to GTP, zer0h!

There is unfortunately no way to rewind or fast forward it. Again, PD missed the boat on that one...

Did you save your replay? At teh end of the race, you can do this, then go back to it afterwards to review it. I've used that on many occasions, and I tihnk thats the way that Neon DUke and RVD do their write-ups.

Good luck,

AO

Yeah i did. But i think ill re-race it anyway, i don't know my qualifying times, and i need the practice

Thanks for the help both of ya.

Well, it's the way I do my writeups when I have time. On a few occasions when I did the PD Cup, I tried pausing and logging my comments during pit stops. Unfortunately what happened is I got out of the groove and it was very hard to get back in the rhythm coming out of the pits.

Would be an welcome feature in the next gen GT to have that on going stats of all races run with complete times for each track
