Here's a little suggestion for ya... As good at flash as you are, how about making a Flash animation that's 100x100 (or 500x500) and export it as a animated gig file that's 100x100 that meets the 35k requirements.

Swish is only good for simple text effects and things of the like. Flash is virtually endless when it comes to creating animations and applications with it's built in Actionscript.

What? Your monitor's brightness must not be set very high because I can see it clearly.

The image is just a teency weency bit too big for avatar specs here at GTP...

Also, if it's easy to edit, try a contrasting color for the lettering, or even white... Just throwin' some idea's at ya.

Hey, Not a problem.... I might suggest going through all of the Flash Tutorials, they really get your feet wet with Flash design and concepts.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask....there's a few of us around that could probably help ya out.

I only have the trail version, and I was going to make something and this is all greek to me, I figured out how to add text, and make shapes and thats about it.
Now that I realize it, this is a lot of work for an avatar!

Tell ya what, attach a .swf or .fla (or a zip file containing these) file that you create from your Swish program, and I'll see about converting it to a animated avatar for ya.

Hey I figured it out.
I made one in swish and turned it into a gif on MX.
Here It's sloppy but I was just playin around with it.
