Honestly this is one of the coolest cars I've seen in a long time. I would take one in a heartbeat because it just looks so freakin' awesome.

Carscoop scooped everybody over the weekend by publishing the first official(ly leaked) shots of the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Estate. The sister to the recently-announced sedan, this is the flagship that will sit atop the C-Class wagon range. It sports AMG's 6.2L V8 tuned to produce 457 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. That's enough to give the wagon a 4.6-second 0-62 time and an electro-nannied top end of 155 MPH. Outside, it gets all the AMG visual goodies, which make it look like quite the menacing little family truckster. Pretty awesome, kids, and it lets you bring up to 53 cubic feet of stuff along for the ride. Look for it later this month in Frankfurt, where it'll make its grand entrance along with the rest of the C-Class Estate lineup. We're looking forward to what the tuners like BRABUS do with this.

Yesterday we wrote “In 2008 Mercedes will broaden the range of the new C-Class Estate with an AMG version”. Duh… Our reader Leo from Germany though had a different state of mind honoring us with a set of images featuring the 2008 Mercedes C 63 AMG Estate. Apparently, the C 63 AMG Estate will make its premier at this year’s Frankfurt show along with the rest of C-Class Estate versions.

Just like the C 63 AMG Sedan, the Estate is equipped with a normally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 engine delivering 457 Hp and 600 Nm of maximum torque. According to the info supplied by our friend Leo, the C 63 AMG Estate will sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.6 sec (Sedan: 4.5 sec) and achieve an electronically governed top speed of 250 km/h (155mph). We’ll have more on the 2008 C 63 AMG Estate as soon as Mercedes… officially unveils the car.

Oh, wow!

Just imagine how much crap you could fit into that cavernous boot!

Well... It's C-class, so it's not huge... but it's big enough. :D

Strange, I've been considering a C43 AMG as my next car. The previous C-class isn't anywhere near as accomplished as the current car, but it's still a mentalist high-value-for-money hot-rod of a motorcar.

Man.. I had everything but my Tv and an end table in my W124 Estate for the drive up to college. But, mine's not that fast. Or that beautiful. Screw the E Class estate. I've found something to add to my list of goals in life. :dopey:

wagons is sexy, fast wagons is sexier, sports car beating wagons is actually sex.

I'll take one for each day of the week please, not too sure about the eyelids though.

There are always people selling Headlights from the regular sedans on eBay.. :p

I liked the Quote in the Magazine test of the E55 AMG wagon: "Mommy! Race that Ferrari!"

 I just love the pissed off menacing look these things have.

"I'm going to eat you, your family, and the neighbors"

Beautiful. I love it. It'll get the groceries home so fast that the ink won't be dry on the receipt.

Absolutely "bat S crazy" as my Grandmother would say. I'd call it brilliant at the very least... But, I'd imagine, they won't sell it in the US, which really is too bad...

God I hope the guys at Cadillac are taking notes. Give me a CTS Estate (such is planned thus far) with the 7.0L V8 out of the Z06, and it just may have a chance of being as cool as this...

A 7L engine...in a Cadillac? Well...I'll take one as well

Anyway, beautiful estate, but still nowhere near the Volvo's, nothing beats a V70  Or even the latest 9-3 saab

Meh, I'd rather a Magnum SRT-8, If for no other reason than that it's a little bigger, a little less powerful, and a LOT less expensive.

and just as badass.

A V70R, right?

...Too bad Saab doesn't have an "Bat S" crazy model to go into the market with. I don't think the Epsilon chassis would play well with a V8 or an overly-boosted V6...

Too busy on the front end, and I never really had a thing for wagons.

The concept reminds me a lot of the magnum.

Am I the only one who thinks the front looks a little messy ?.. Like too many not-so-well thought out holes ?...

I'll still take one in a New York moment though !...

[Edit:] Obviously I got treed by mass-debation for not reading to the end before posting :asshat:

[Edit:] And now Double Posting... :ultimateasshat:

These are the ultimate status symbol to me. :sly:
Driving a fast station wagon is like saying "I can have anything I want..." (but I'm practical and safe). :P
Awesome car, would love to see one here (LA.).
