Saw this online and thought I would share.

I'm am really impressed by this set up. Are there any other full sim rigs for sale to consumers like this Vesaro rig? It would be nice to know in case I ever win the lotto. :)

Only thing I dont like about that rig is how low the steering wheel is. Again, another rig with an unrealistic driving position with the wheel in your lap. Imagine how funny it would be to see F1 drivers sticking out of their car to achieve that position. Even with a GT wheel its to low for me.

Well look at the way he's holding the wheel. Sigh.

Quite honestly I think that rig is, well "bunk". Did you see how much flex there is on the wheel deck? The pedals don't fit very well. I do like the looks but it seems to be made solely of plastic.

BTW a good rule of thumb for GT wheels is they should be near level with the drivers chin, or close proximity.
 
Lazy setting up, they didn't even try to match the wheel rotation and of course as it's Codies there wont be an option to turn the wheel off in game..👎

Hi. I have the vesaro and I can say there is zero flex and it is built like a tank. I mainly purchase bc it looks amazing and I can use dBox.

I like to play other games and I recently purchased a CSW so I could remove the wheel with ease bc the wheel was blocking my view and I am 6 02.
 
I'd take one anyday...

Love the display stand and design..

To me, this looks better than the VR3, no centre post to boot and the VR3 was hardly very adjustable neither but hey each to their own.

Perhaps, looks to me it is rather springy. I like the looks of them but the wheel table and pedal area look to be a tad tight. Also they are way over priced IMO.
 
I lean/sit on that top portion all the time to reach the other side and it doesn't even bend down a mm. The chassis alone is around 2k which it is a bargain for the sturdiness and looks.

I absolutely love the fact that all the wires are completely hidden including the wires for the 5.1 surround sound. There is also an under tray that you can place both dBox control boxes and with extra size to spare - oh and the under seat buttkicker. I have the buttkicker but I had never even turned on bc the dboxes do such a good job with the vibrations that I rather have them turned down very low. I also went back and I noticed that my seat is not even in the lowest setting and my wheel deck is pretty high. Increasing height of that platform would be a super easy fix bc the way it was designed - simply a longer screw with an extra spacer.
 
That's a lot of money, as I said, I like the looks of them. Since you own one I'll take your word on the flexing issue. So are they fabricated out of metal? In any event I will weld my own rig. They might not be as stylish as the Vesaro but then again I built my rig for a fraction of the cost.

I wish I knew how to weld. I bet it isn't as easy as it looks.
 
I built my rig out of 1 1/2" and 1 1/4" square tube. It's easy to work with, if you have the tools. I have been welding since I was 16, although I don't do it as a profession. So I might do 2 or 3 projects a year, I do have a welder though and my welds aren't in the class of a pro, I do get the job done. You can see my custom Zalem rig in my sig. :)

When Thomas from Fanatec looked at my rig he said it looked like a tank. (lol) Well it's just built really solid. If I had plans for a Vesaro I could build it. The one design I don't really care for is the wheel deck and yet that gives it the looks that a Vesaro is famous for. I would really like to try one but as I said before, they are expensive.

I also liked the slick design of the Vesaro so I decided to build one on similar lines but with improvements, I've added a stainless steel tubular roll bar, I've changed the steering deck in a sort of drop down form, My pedals are inverted and are housed in a an enclosure with strip lighting inside to keep the pedals lit up. I have strip lighting eminating from under the chassis to give the rig a bit of aura, any color you like. The front of the chassis has been widened to take the sub with the PS3 console on top. Most of the wiring is housed within the tubular frame. It's as sturdy as a rock. The feet is made of highly polished stainless steel plate. The wheel height adjustment setup is also of highly polished stainless steel. I have a fixed 42 inch monitor set-up. The entire rig except for the polished stainless steel is powder coated high gloss black. the surround sound speakers are mounted on polished stainless steel brackets on the front curved tubes and the rear speakers are projected from the roll bar at head level where speakers should be and not at floor level as the Vesaro. All in all it looks pretty good. It's not very difficult to build and a damn side cheaper than buying one. You will need a tig welder for the stainless steel work and an ordinary welder for the steel work although a mig welder would do a better job. I'll be glad to post a few photos once I've learnt how to do so. Cheers for now!

Can do all this, but don't know how to post pics...LOL Can't wait to see what it looks like, and whether or not you intended on motion like the Vesaro in the video.
 
I'm A GT5 user and they don't support full motion. It's a pity though. If they did I would have a full go for sure. Maybe they will catch a wake up one day and surprise us. I have never spent time on a full motion rig and don't really know if I would like it. I will post photos soon, hope Vesaro wont be pissed off because of the similarity. Cheers!
