The "huge" aero advantage you seem to base your reasoning for your car being faster is only an advantage at high speeds. Most corners on Tokyo aren't fast enough to see a huge advantage. For that matter even a miniscule advantage that would outweigh something like a perfect line or a tuned transmission. Also your downforce is calculated into the pp so you could have technically lost pp if it's not tuned properly. Go do a seasonal time trial and let us know your ranking. If you can come in the top 25 maybe we'll believe you when you say you're a great driver and he shouldn't have beat you.

Just a thought.....maybe this guy is trolling and you all just don't want to admit to being subject to his whim. I posted, I got trolled.

It's always possible. But I prefer to look at it as a good excuse to play with a car I probably wouldn't drive otherwise on a track that I definitely would not have driven on otherwise. :)

If I understand that right then you mean that cars with the same PP can drive same lap times . taht did not make sense to me because my hsv is faster then my sls gt3 at same PP

Ok, by HOW MUCH are these cars faster/slower? You've only mentioned a 0.7 SECOND gap - hardly a landslide victory. Honestly, with repetitive laps, how much are your times varying? Look at that statistic. You are using the EXACT same car, but getting different lap times. So a car with similar pp will be ABLE to get similar lap times, but that depends on how well-accustomed the driver is to the car.

If a car has similar traits at higher hp (I.e. Oversteer and understeer), then the power/weight/downforce/pp increase (or decrease) should be an easy transition to the driver making quicker/slower laps. If the characteristics are completely different with more or less power, weight, etc., the higher (or lower) performance may not benefit the driver if they can't control the car. Separate cars with the same pp can have COMPLETELY different handling characteristics, and un-tuned LSDs, transmission, and suspension leave most stock cars with un-optimized performance for a given track, making pp not the most reliable thing in the world for lap times.

You aren't factoring optimized settings and general driver skill into the equation.

I think that's the REAL problem here. Thanks to the spreading rumors of hacking, every good driver's rep will be in jeopardy now because the first thing people will say is that he must be hacking and kick him from the lobby. :irked: Good thing I'm not the best driver. :dopey:

Excepting people with some basic understanding of the human element to driving. You know all that skill jibberish. If someone calls hacks because they lost, chances are they aren't worth racing against imo.

Edit: I agree getting kicked from lobbies because you won and someone called hacks is super annoying but anyone who lacks humility, no matter how skilled they are, are not worth looking up to if you ask me. Sometimes I'd forgo an important lesson because I don't want to learn it from that specific person. Right, wrong? I don't know. Just my two cents.
