At some point structured threads will be created to document the easiest (and hardest) ways to win the various series in A-spec and B-spec. In the meantime, here's how my mentally strong driver "Bobby" Guerrero, won the B-spec Beginner Series with ease, minimum expense and hopefully eye to future use.

How much did you have to tune your Yaris??

My B-Spec Bob won the Vitz challenge with the Vitz Turbo 1.5 RS. No tuning other than an oil change. Although I have to admit he won it in the last two turns. I was yelling at him and everything.

But when he raced it, the top 4 cars were 3 Vitz Turbo 1.5 RS and one Yaris E Euro Sport Edition J '00. That leads me to believe your best bet is the Vitz Turbo. You can certainly borrow mine for the challenge if you'd like.

Friend me

Rosebudteg

and I'll let you borrow my Turbo Vitz.

How much did you have to tune your Yaris??

Please write the easiest way to win other series. thx.

My Yaris was tuned to 128 hp and 799 kg, Sports Hard tires. I used it because it is a Sunday Cup prize car. Rosebudteg's car starts with more base horsepower and is also a good choice, although my wins were all very easy.

As I finish the next Series, I will post the easy way to win in a thread dedicated to the new series. Please feel feel to post your own results in the B-spec Beginners, or to ask questions.

Respectfully,
Dotini

I used the Euro too, dropped in a stage one turbo, a few cheaper parts like air filters and maybe a CPU, stuck on a set of the best tires allowed and off he went. Won by a country mile. I think it was around 132HP, the Euro is light, 820 KG I think, so I didn't need any expensive diet drugs to slim it down.

Nice thread Dotini -
I would like to add my Beginner Series cars:

Sunday Cup------------Nissan 200SX S14 '96
FF Challenge----------Mazda Demio Sport '03
World Compact Champ---Opel Speedster '00
Lightweight K Cup-----Daihatsu OFC-1 Concept '07
Japanese Classic------Nissan Skyline HT 2000GTR FPGC10 '70
Yaris/Vitz Race-------Toyota Yaris U Euro Sport Ed. '00
European Classic Car--Lotus Europa Special '71
World Classic Car-----Chevy Camaro SS '69
FR Challenge----------Nissan C-West Razo Silvia '01

In the Japanese Classic race, the AI in the Mazda 110S is fast, watch out!

In the FR Challenge races, the Shelby Series 1 Supercharged will give you some strong opposition!

What level were your drivers? Mine seem really damn dumb, even when they have decent cars.

All B-Spec drivers are really dumb and inexperienced in the beginning! They will get better, just give them some track time!

The cars that I listed above were the first cars that I used to beat the Beginner level races, so my B-Spec drivers would have been anywhere from level 1 to maybe level 5. I had to repeat the Yaris/Vitz race and the European Classic Car races a couple of times before my B-Spec Bobs would win the races.:dunce: I also got skunked:embarrassed: by a Mazda 110S a couple of times in the Japanese Classic races.

Good luck,
GTsail

I've found that the most important thing in B-Spec is to have the best tires available to your drivers. Anything in the comfort range and they'll be spinning out all the time, especially if their skill is in the first few levels. Takes some time before you can leave the room and let them do their thing to win.

Chaparral 2J and Nissan R92CP. Having those cars is the easiest way to win most of the Bspec events. Also the Audi R8 ALMS is a very good car to get the later Bspecs from level 0-10 in about 6-8 races.

Chaparral 2J and Nissan R92CP.

If you can get those two (or even just the Nissan) you'll be golden at least through the Extreme races and probably beyond. With good tires and a stage 3 turbo the Nissan will beat any car in the game except pehaps the formula cars.

Here is my take on beginning B spec

Sunday Cup - - - - - - - Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STi 94 (Easy!)
FF challenge - - - - - - - Alfa Romeo GTV 3.0 V6 24V 01 (Easy!)
World Compact - - - - - Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STi 94 (Easy!)
Lightweight K-Cup - - - -Suzuki Cappuccino (EA21R) '95
Japanese Classics - - - - Dome Zero Concept '78 (Took several tries)
Vitz Race - - - - - - - - - -Toyota Yaris E Euro Sport Edition J '00 (Upgrade to 140hp)
European Classic Car - - Lamborghini Countach LP400 '74 (Too easy!)
Classic Car Series - - - - Not yet complete, but I am planning using Buick Special '62
FR Challenge - - - - - - - Not yet complete, but I am planning using Buick Special '62

Yup, pretty much. You only really need the FGT for the FGT championship but if you get it, it mostly replaces all previous cars.
