B-Spec drivers gaining credits after the 20mil credit cap

Are there certain circumstances in which your B-Spec drivers cannot accumulate credits once you have reached the 20million credit gap?

I believe it's been twice now that I have reached the cap and tried to get more credits through my B-Spec drivers, since they can store extra credits, but I gained nothing. I don't understand why I'm not able to do this.
 
Right, I know that you can't collect since it will already be at the max amount, but when I've tried to gain more, I check to see if anything went to my drivers and it ended up that it didn't. The credit amount still read as --.

I'm approaching 20mil again and I want to collect more than that, but I made this thread because when I tried before, I had issues.

If it is at -- then it isn't online. If it was online, it would say 0, not --.

Are you referring to remote racing or something? I've never done a remote race. Is that the only way you can build up extra credits? Or will any B-Spec event do?
 
I know this sounds stupid, but how do you even store credits with your b spec driver in the first place?

You have to put them online and then have other people have to do online B-Spec races.

You have to set them up for remote racing, and create another account or inform your friends that you have drivers up and ready to use. They can accumulate their own cash at this point, separate from your own capped amount. I think you can have 6-7 B spec drivers on "Share" and i also think they can hold more then 20 mill each.
 
Ah I see. Now everything is clear to me. Now I just need to find some people interested in racing with my Bobs, or, as rosckolove mentioned, create another PSN account.
