B-Spec driving (Arrows Mean) by helmet

What is the meaning or the arrows when it points up/angle, sideways, or down/angle? Is it significant to the driving abilities? Appreciate a response.

It tells you how their career is going and how's it's progressing.

I know I was having a hard time completing a race in 1st and after doing a few different races, his arrow was up and blue, I tried that race again and dominated them.

Pointing up means increase pace.
Pointing down means decrease pace.
Pointing neutral means maintain pace.
Increase pace and the lap times get faster but your b spec is likely to make mistakes.
Decrease pace cools your driver down making him slow and careful like James may.
Maintain pace well maintains the speed at which your b spec is lapping and usually your b spec hot/cold meter will be stationary to where you implemented it. This is not the case when he's close to other ai as he is going to get hot so this is when you'll have to use pace down or let it be.
Leaving the controls alone youll not have to do anything and your b spec will cool down and slow down. However when he meets ai he will speed up.

No, I think he meant the Arrow in his status


See the Green arrow in the top right?
Sometimes it's green like it is now.
Sometimes it points down and is orange.
Sometimes it's blue and points up.
